I bought this with the mindset that MacBooks were superior over PC laptops. The first thing I noticed was that it ran too slowly. It would take 30-60 seconds to load an application and felt laggy overall. Twice it crashed on me. As a PF debater, i found it cumbersome and too slow to find files quickly in order to show files for proof to my opponents. I'm currently trying to get a replacement to see if this was an isolated event. But for now, my HP dv5t of 6 years seems to run just as fast if not faster and smoother. I was told that the reason for it being slow was because it had the old HDD storage system (disk) instead of the newer SSD (chip) like te newer MacBooks. But those are way too expensive for very little data (128-256GB).

It's so good I had to buy another one for traveling

This is a good basic Mac for those that just want a fantastic computer, with no surprises. I have been using PC's for the last twenty years and this is my first Mac, so far It has been a great experience. The computer has a great feel with the keyboards and very quick to respond to what I need.

I have a Mac that I just gave my granddaughter since I wanted to buy the Macbook Pro. I have been a Mac user for the last 3 years and will continue since the products are easy to use. The Macbook Pro has a clear picture, is easy to use and I just love it.

The apple product works great! Glad best buy had a small sale and had it in a stock. I did my research on it and knew most of what I wanted was there. So just had to pick it up.

Great computer.....had it for a couple mints. The only problem I had was getting email switched over from my fell but I don't think that was the Mac issue but rather mine

I bought an open box - excellent mac book pro from best buy, online and picked it up from the store near by the same day. I feel that the laptop was slightly slower than a brand new one but that was expected as it was an open box purchase. I think that for about 1000 dollars including tax, this was a great purchase.

THIS MACBOOK IS ABSOLUTELY AWESOME. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO A REGULAR PC AGAIN. I CAN DO SO MANY THINGS ON IT AND THE FACT THAT IT SYNCS TO MY OTHER APPLE DEVICES IS A PLUS.

Build quality is nice. OS runs well which is expected when the software developer is also the hardware engineer. Only regret is not getting it with a solid state hard drive.

the macbook pro is awesome, very clean. The processor is fast and can hold a lot of memory, always corrects me on my spelling and battery life is long and prosperous. couldn't of asked for a better right hand computer.

It was a lot of money, but completely worth it to me

After 25 years with a pc i was afraid to switch to a mac but now i have it i love it and its easy for my kids , because they use them at school and it isnt difficult for them now to do homework or projects. Beside that after viewed some videos and reading about the machine and of course after some FREE workshops at apple store . Im in love with this. She makes my life easy . THANK YOU MR. What a great laptop. This is our second Pro and we love it. The size is perfect and it's so fast!

Got this macbook pro.. love it, all i wanted was dvd drive and ethernet port. its a friendly use. I also installed windows without upgrading my RAM. works great with no issues.

I would not hesitate to purchase this computer. gave it to my parents for christmas and they couldn't be happier. get the Best Buy credit card and take 18 months to pay.

After opening the box I realized that it was the perfect laptop for my son. He begin using it and was very excited and happy to have it. Apple products are great to use.

It has great screen resolution. I find it fast and very easy to navigate. The price was good too!

I recently bought this computer for my daughter who is in college and she loves it. It makes her school work supper easy.
