I bought this laptop to replace my pc. The main use for the laptop is for photos. I'm not a fan of Windows 8, so I decided to go with a mac. I love iPhoto. I think the switch of operating systems has been fairly easy. So far am happy that I made the switch from a pc to a mac. My only complaint would be the high price.

Bought for my 15 year old daughter for High School. Loves it. Much more efficient than her previous Samsung windows 8.1.

I love my Macbook. It is my second mac computer. They keep working well and at a fast pace for several years, well before I am ready for an upgrade. The microsoft products I use, have mac counterparts, so all I had to do was buy the correct software, download and go. I could see later, needing more RAM and getting parallels, if I find I need more Windows based function, but for now, I just don't miss the windows based software.

I bought this for college, it was a good purchase but way too expensive. It is a good purchase because I will use it for years. The problem is that you have to buy word or pages to work on documents. Other than that it is worth it. I also got the geek squad protection which is totally worth it and is much better than the one offered by other places. If you are willing to take care of it then it is definitely the go to computer.

Bought this Macbook hesitantly at first (because of it being open box), but it has exceeded expectations! I am a website manager/video editor and this little beauty handles Photoshop CS6, iMovie '11 and anything else I throw at it simultaneously. I'd certainly say I got my money's worth!

Ordered a MacBook Pro as an Open Box item. The description indicated in was in EXCELLENT condition, 2.6 Mhz processor with 500Gb of memory. The MacBook Pro received was a 2009 model, with a 2.3 Mhz processor and 120gb of memory, a virus, no access to FaceTime or the Apple store and was clearly NOT in excellent condition considering the plethora of scratches on it. The technician, as well as, the customer service clerk attempted to convince me the reason the process and memory indicated different was because the machine had not been cleaned and had a virus. After several minutes of trying to explain a virus does not change the stated # of processing Mhz, I refused the machine and demanded an immediate refund.

I was torn between this one and the one with the special display. I'm glad I went with this one. This is a great tablet!

Amazing MacBook Pro incredibly fast performance awsome battery life exceeds all expectations

This is a great laptop! I already have several other apple products and I love them so this was a great addition. I plan on getting the desktop version when my other computer stops working. I got a really good deal on it and it works really well. I know some people who don't like MaC products but if you're willing to take a little extra time to learn all about them you will find that they are more accessible and user friendly.

This thing is a monster when it comes to laptops. Does everything that I need it to and more,a whole lot faster to!!

This is my first Mac and I'm extremely satisfied with it's performance so far. My kids all swear by them, and I'm only sorry it took me this long to join them. The performance is super clean and fast which are both important qualities for me.

I first switched to Apple in 2010 and have been an admirer of apple products since then. I purchased this Macbook pro for my mom who is an assistant professor and a doctoral student. At first it was hard for her to adjust to the change from Windows to Mac but she absolutely loves it now and uses it all the time.

Mc pro is an excellent product. You won't find any complaints about it you will love it

I am very happy with my laptop, I was won over by it's features to play/burn dvds, have a couple of USB's, other drives and memory drives, durability, and the fact that it was much safer than Windows. I've already used it right away to assist me with clients who are able to view and edit their own documents on the spot. However, I will be in line to purchase a parallel to exchange documents with Apple non-users.

Apple's Mac Book Pro 13" model continues to fill a sweet spot for those looking for a premium quality notebook PC just a bit upside of the ultra book category. The overall design here is unsurpassed in this category and the attention to every detail is something you come to love quickly. Only Samsung is producing products of similar quality and their cost are very close (on occasion more) than what the 13" Mac Book Pro cost.

I purchased this laptop for my 11 year old son. It sinked with our existing mac easily. We moved him from a pc to avoid the constant spam and necessary security issues.
