While shopping for this PC the Apple Store recommended that I go to Best Buy since they were substantially cheaper! And they were! Go figure!

Big difference from my old HP laptop, glad I made the switch. Takes a little getting used to the keyboard and screen differences but by far better.

I like this macbook. I was never a Macintosh user ever in my life. I bought this for college and I'm not sure if it was the best call. Working with it is great but you have to know that there are disadvantages with this type of machine. Not all programs and softwares that normally work on PC's would work on this mac. But other than that this is a very dependable computer aside from the special software that has be installed on here I would recommend it to someone who is willing to spend the time to learn how to use this. Its always up and ready to go whenever you need it. Doesn't take long to load and if you have and iPhone it makes a perfect match for it.

Yes, these are getting a little long in the tooth and yes, new cooler mac book pros are on the horizon, but this model (still available NEW from Apple) are the LAST fully upgradable Mac Book Pros. You can upgrade the memory AND hard drive for minimal dollars these days -- slap in some RAM and a SDD and you have a smokin' hot machine for years to come.

My advice: PLAY AROUND WITH IT if it's your FIRST mac. Yes, you will have quite the adjustment to make, and yes, it might be confusing, but it's worth it in the end. It doesn't take long to get used to, I promise. Battery life is amazing, especially since my last PC was dying every hour. This was a great switch, I recommend this to everyone thinking about switching to the dark side.

I really liked my MacBook for the short two weeks I had it. Unfortunately it was stolen and I don't have the money at the present time to replace it.

Nice size, fast processor and screen resolution. Easy to set up and use.

Needed another laptop. Since I already had the 15" I looked to the 13" for the smaller size and easier to carry. Still a quality Mac computer but I notice the 13" aren't enough sometimes. If I could only have a 15" or 13" inch, I would definitely go with the 15"
