Great Computer (possibly slower than newer models)

I am very pleased with the computer; however, I suspect the newer models may be a bit faster operating. Which is to be expected when I bought the last one with a CD/DVD player.

great proven use as a workstation

I like having a good-feel keyboard, and still find the CD slot very useful for uploading music and other information, but I needed an update of power, both in CPU and battery. So far this fits the bill (have just started using the new one)
