Excellent laptop for college students

I have never had an Apple item before and so far I really like the upgrade. I also got it for a pretty good deal when I bought it from Best Buy. Also, being a college student it is really easy to carry around and works at a high speed!

Quality product. You get what you pay for...

I seriously considered upgrading to an SSD based Retina, but couldn't justify it based on the relatively low demands I place on it. I primarily use it to store my JPEG based iPhoto library and do very light photo editing. The rest of my use is blogging and some tinkering with PHP/MySQL web development. I love the fit and finish and the much more intuitive operation of the Mac OS compared to Windows 7, which I have to use at my day job. My work laptop is a Lenovo ThinkPad which works just fine but is bulkier, has a shorter battery life, and feels kind of badly put together compared to my MacBook Pro.

Good entrance to the Apple family

Sure a pc can offer more but you know this computer will not go bad on you any time soon. Going on 5 years and still going strong

A wonderful addition to my iPhone & iPad!

I wasn't sure how easy it would be to go from using a Windows PC to using a Macbook but it's been such a wonderful experience, why didn't I get one earlier? I love it!

I find the MacBook pro very easy to use. Had easy set up, no problems what so ever. Was slightly nervous about switching from a pc to a mac, but it has been an effortless transition.
