About 6 years ago I got fed up with all of the system crashes I kept having on my Windows machine. I had to reload everything on the machine more than once and gradually the machine would become painfully lethargic and start to crashing again. I switched to Mac and have never looked back. They just work, and you don't have to mess with them constantly. Making the transition was easy, and thankfully, I don't have to play the role of part time IT technican anymore!

Great product and user friendly... Performance is as good as advertised

Looked for quite a while and finally took the plunge and got a great discount at Best Buy. 200.00 off! There were some issues initially with migrating my data over from PC but with the help of the amazing tech support from Apple, everything is transferred over....Oh did I say that the Apple support alone is worth the additional cost of a Mac over any PC. Smart, dedicated people call at specified time and immediately help work out any issues. Get a Mac!

I love this version of the MacBook pro because it is easy to add more speed and memory if need be and it has a disc drive. Those were both of the qualities I was looking for in a new MacBook. The new MacBook was lighter, but it didn't have moving parts, which meant I couldn't add or take anything away from the laptop. Great speed, great screen resolution, great laptop.

I am very happy with my new MacBook Pro. It is fast and reliable. I opted to get the older version of the MacBook Pro with the CD drive because I wanted to be able to access my CDs. It makes the computer heavier, but I am happy that I got the CD drive because I use it often. I do not travel with my laptop much because I have a reliable work computer. However, if I needed to travel with my laptop more, then I would have probably opted for the Air.

This computer has been amazing. I use it every single day and it accommodates perfectly to my college life.

Even though it is a little pricey, it is worth it Good performance, good speed, light, durable, reliable.

Great improvements over the previous MacBook Pro. Noticibily faster processing, thinner, lighter, with a clear sharper screen. The battery lasts days also. Very happy with the performance. Only downside is the price relative to non Apple laptops.

I read a novel recently in which the protagonist just purchased their first MacBook and likened the experience to going from a Toyota to a Mercedes. Nothing wrong with Toyotas, mind you- but the MacBook Pro is just so much better. This one was purchased for our son, who needed it for some specific applications at University. I've been using mine since last year, and I'm quite certain neither of us will ever go back. Worth the money- no doubt about it.

The MacBook 13.3 screen size is perfect for taking to meetings. It is extremely fast during startup and while using applications. By being able to link to my iPhone all of my calendar events and contacts are available. I will never buy a PC again.

I recently got my first Apple product after being a windows/microsoft user for life. I absolutely love it! After getting over the shock of the price I decided it was time to get something more reliable. The MacBook is fast and very easy to use. I use it for both work and recreation and havent been let down yet!

Love the Mac. It's a very good laptop and exactly what I needed for class. Very durable and light weight.

I remember the days I used to buy computers and laptops with Window on it... Oh man what a waste of money and everything. Always getting viruses and/or slow to a point that I quit using em and never will again. Apple makes the best and since I switched to Apple a few years ago I never had to fix or replace any of their devices. This one is my 2nd MacBook Pro, one for business and the other one for pleasure. Buy it and you won't regret it.

This computer is great for everything I need it for. It costs more than non Apple laptops, but it is worth the extra money. Smooth, light, easy to transport. It is great for my graduate work and my work. It is also great for entertainment It synchs nicely with our other Apple products - iPhone, iPods and AppleTV.
