    Overall, this mac is a great college computer. I know most like the Mac Air since it is light, but this computer is great for its graphics and its 500GB hard drive. My only problem is the fact that it heats up so much when charging, or when i use it while charging. Another thing is it tends to heat up when i am only doing homework, i don't use a lot of graphics (gaming, etc) so i do not understand this.

    Although it may not be the best system in the world, this Macbook does everything you need and more. They are very reliable with hardware and software and will last easily 10 years if taken care of.

    I've been waiting to by this for almost two years. After finally decided to do it, I wasn't sure which MacBook was best for me. Being a full time student and running my own dance group this laptop has helped me out tremendously.

    Been waiting for a long time to purchase this product because I kept telling myself it wasn't worth it, but I will say that I am glad I made the purchase. It made it even better that Best Buy has a great financing product, so that you can pay off your purchase within 18 months without any interest! Great product by Apple, and I understand now why people rave over the products that Apple creates!

    I love my MacBook. The only bad thing was it came with 4GB of RAM. But this version was interchangeable so I boosted it up to 16GB dual channel ram and a 500 GB solid state hard drive. Downgraded from El Captian to Mavericks and now I love it now.
