First Mac
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to replace a dying 8 year old PC laptop that had made even the simplest tasks take forever. I am primarily PC-based, but have a ton of Apple products. I was pleased to see that the setup of the laptop was no more challenging than setting up an iPad. Included software is great, especially now that Apple is including Pages and Numbers for free - they are compatible with Word and Excel files that I occasionally need to bring home from work, saving me from having to make a separate purchase of the Office Suite. The price is a bit steep, however I got it on sale, and used the financing option which was very handy. Be aware if you choose financing you don't get your reward points from the purchase, but it's worth it to save the high interest rates!

Excellent Computer!

I put it on my desk and apparently its fan sucked some water into the system and killed the logic board. The design of the bottom is not perfect at all. the cost of the repair is ~ $800. So I decided to buy a this i5 for know until I can repair that one. Still working fine and happy with it. Its a very user friendly computer as long as you take care of it perfectly.
