First time Mac owner, and I am loving this laptop. I have used a mac once or twice before, but this is my first time really using one. It was really easy to set up. I have an Iphone 5, and an Apple TV and I can connect all with this computer. I can be working on the computer and get a text message on my screen. That way I don't have to get my phone and check the text, I can just answer the text and get back to work very quickly. It is a nice size, perfect for me traveling. I take it with me everywhere. I am really happy about my purchase.

This is by far the best computer I've owned, or used. I know a lot of people are detractors for Apple products, saying they're too expensive, overrated, and lack features that other products offer for a lesser price point. To that I say there are features found on high-trim level Kias/Hyundais that aren't found on base level Mercedes, but at the end of the day, I'd rather have superior build quality, better looks, reliability, and brand cachet than some questionably valuable, gimmicky features I'd never used. The MacBook Pro also is extremely intuitive, so much so that after one month of having it, I couldn't imagine using anything else and hate using my work computer because it's a sad little Dell. Any doubt I had about whether I wanted an iPad disappeared within a day of having my new computer - I'm buying one next! And Apple's customer service is unparalleled, too. If you're wondering whether to splurge on this computer, do it - you won't regret it!

I got this MacBook during Black Friday. The value was amazing and the product is as well. I went with this model over the MacBook Air or newer MacBook Pro because of the hard drive. I needed the extra space and this has that and also a disc drive (haven't used it yet but good to have). It has the capability to be upgraded to the most current version of OSX and still flys when it comes to speed.

i love my MacBook. i was hesitant to switch from PC to Apple, but i'm happy i did. i think my MacBook is over 6 years old and I have never had any major issues. it still runs great! i get tempted from time to time to purchase an new MacBook Pro because of the sleek new looks and new features, but because of how great this still preforms, it'll have to wait.

My favorite thing about the mac is how simple it actually is to use. My concern when buying it was that it would be too difficult to switch from a PC to a mac. But, so far, it was way easier to use than a PC. No unnecessary "junk" needed to be downloaded to my mac pro, and no crashing or slow load up. And most importantly, for college student, it allows you to use whatever tool is available, wether its downloading things online, or using their app store. You can use Microsoft office on the mac and it's just as functional as a pc.

Ever since my eldest daughter purchased her Mac, I've been wanting to buy a Mac. As a PC user since the dawn of time, I never thought I'd change. Windows 8 changed all that. It was the straw that broke this camel's back. I finally bought my Mac and have been thrilled with it. It is truly easy to navigate, and I've only had a few bumps (easily fixed with Apple). I highly recommend this product!

Great Device for the price...it does pretty much everything...fast and reliable

My daughter loves her Macbook pro 13. It is easy to use and works efficiently.

I bought this MacBook to replace an aging ThinkPad R61 and so far it has been an awesome computer. I upgraded the hard drive to 1TB and RAM to 16GB and it is everything that I could want in a laptop computer. This has been an excellent entrance into the world of OS X and Yosemite has made this computer even better.

I really enjoy my computer. It is nice that Mac computers rarely, if ever get viruses. The battery life is good and so is the computer set-up. I found the computer easy to run. One thing I dislike about Mac computers is that you need adapters for everything. If you want to connect to an ethernet cord, you need a certain adapter that cost $20-30 more. This is true for hooking the computer to the TV. Overall, I think the product is durable and a good product to have.

I've wanted a MacBook for quite some time and my wife surprised me with one for Christmas. While does take some getting used to compared to a PC, I love it's performance. It is very intuitive once you give it a chance. Patience is important if you're an experienced Microsoft user in learning it's equivalent software. If you can't be I recommend buying the Microsoft Office for Mac right away.

Easy and efficient to use. Fast. Not "glitchy" and stubborn like my Samsung was.

The laptop is lightweight and easy to link up with my other apple products. I also like the accessories that you can purchase to upgrade and add to the laptop like the Apple TV hook up.

I really like this Mac! This is my first Apple and I thought going from PC to Mac would be harder. The switch was very simple. The ease of navigation is helpful! I really am impressed with the battery life and size of the product. I'm in college and it goes everywhere!
