Even though it costs almost twice as much as a windows laptop, I have never seen a laptop as fast as this one. it is a pleasure to use. The only problem is I have some professional software that wont run on Mac

Excellent version as long as you don't really care about Retina display. 500gb hd puts it at an advantage to air priced at similar range

This is an amazing computer for anyone wanting more out of their computers. The display is just the right size so its not to big not to small. This is nice to carry around for a student or business person.

Great computer. Lightweight. It takes some time to get use to using a Mac. The only thing I don't like is that I have to be connected to wifi in order to have access to my pictures. They're in iPhoto, which doesn't work if there's no wifi.

Love my MacBook! Was always a laptop person but instantly fell in love with my MacBook! Also purchased MS Office for Mac and it was exactly what I needed. Also enjoy the additional apps.

The college program I am enrolling in requires this laptop, however I still planned on buying one before I enrolled. This laptop is great for anyone. Can't wait to upgrade the ram and put a ssd in it!

This laptop is amazing , it's my first apple laptop and I love it. I have always been a fan of windows but this laptop has changed me forever. Easy to use and and a lot of shortcuts to access every day items.

For the one who needs a computer really reliable to do all you usually need to do in studying, this computer is great. But maybe one ends up needing a lighter stuff for travelling. Awesome in my study desk!

I think the the new MacBook Pro is a good computer for someone who is stating to use a Mac for the first time. It has all the basic software that someone needs to function and it it's great for personal use also. All in all a great choice.

Well built slim design. The only problem I have found is learning the new system after using pc exclusively for 25-30 years. But I have found the more I learn the mac system the more I prefer it over pc.
