Well built slim design. The only problem I have found is learning the new system after using pc exclusively for 25-30 years. But I have found the more I learn the mac system the more I prefer it over pc.

I have nothin bad to say about this computer. I have always liked apple products. They produce high quality stuff and I've never had a problem out of any of their products. Best investment I have ever made.

Excellent computer. Very user friendly and fast. Easy to learn how to use and does everything I need for school.

First Mac ever. After a lifetime of windows I will never go back. Mac is so fast it's crazy. Expensive compared to windows but they don't come out with new macs every 6 mos and make your old one obsolete.

In the big scheme of things this is the best laptop I've had and I'm sure it'll last me for years. That's one of the main reasons I got this computer. It's reliable and will be useful in college this year.

Overall, a good buy. Disappointed somewhat that the clerk didn't open the container prior to purchase and go over the laptop. I needed to get it into service quickly, so not much time on my side to go back and argue about condition. But loose screws were so small, I couldn't fix with my tools. Had to have geek squad tighten them down -- after they scratched my workspace.

I'm sure I will be very happy with my MacBookPro once I learn how to use it. But I'm not very technological and find the difference between a Mac and my old PC quite challenging to say the least. I have joined the GEEK Squad and even had someone come to my house to help me, but even though the agent was very nice and extremely knowledgable, he wasn't a great teacher. I really learned more from one guy on the Geek Squad that I happened to get on the phone and was really good at teaching, even on the phone. Would be very interested in hearing about the seminars Best Buy gives. They don't do it on the cape, but the Best Buy in Dedham where I bought the computer does, and that is close to where I work.

I bought this to update my old white macbook that's about 5 years old. Of course, compared to my old laptop this one is amazing. I think for the price, this is one of the best purchases out there.

I've always been a PC person but the transition to apple products was very simple. The cost is up there, which is rough, but so far it is completely worth it. Very easy to use with lots of great features.

We love Mac products, at home and at our office. This is a new addition to the office and are happy we have made this purchase. Macs are easy to use, set up, and navigate. We are forever in the Mac family!

It's nice but it does sometimes glitch. I don't know if it's just mine or what. It's a little confusing for old PC users but overal okay

Great computer. Especially for students or anyone who uses a computer a lot. Very pricey but worth it.

I'm so glad I picked up the macbook pro. I have always wanted one but could not stomach the price. After doing a recent comparison I learned if you want it all you must go with mac. I a can't put it down.

We went to Best Buy to purchase a basic little laptop, but stopped to browse at the Macs and found this for less than $900. It has everything we need and want: DVD drive, USB ports, we added MS Word, all with the simplicity of Apple. The transition from Windows to Apple in terms of computer functionality has been easier than expected. I can also personalize the appearance of it with cases; my daughter keeps taking it to class so, to protect it, we purchased a snap-on cover that came with a keyboard cover. (Seems minor, but it makes me feel better to protect the exterior.) I haven't had a single issue, and I recommend this MacBook Pro to anyone who asks!

I love it! I'll never go back to a Windows computer again. This takes a little bit of time to get to know, but it becomes VERY easy once you're there.

Great laptop if you're looking for an on the go Drive. It's bulky, yes. But it works and you don't have to buy separate accessories just to put in a flash drive like the newer ones.
