This is an excellent laptop for anyone going to college as it's an easy interface to learn and excellent quality to toss around in a backpack.

I love my mac. It works amazingly and the software is functional. This makes it great for a college student like me. Plus it is slender but not too much so that I feel like I am going to break it.

I have always had a windows based computer. I needed to replace my HP desktop & decided to buy a laptop. I first purchased a Lenovo with the new windows 8 & I had it for about 2 weeks & hated it. It was the windows 8 that I didn't like. Lenovo ok. My daughter is a Mac proponent so she convinced me to go with it. Best decision ever. It is still very new to me & I am still in the learning stage but I signed up for the Geek Squad & they have been wonderful!!

This is an all around great computer for anyone who likes computers that work. It met and exceeded my expectations in many ways. The only think I can say about it that's isn't the best it that is it very expensive for what you are getting and it is very easily scratched. You just have to watch what you are doing with it. Overall it's an amazing computer!!

replace a 4 yr old apple very nice improvements in the upgrades from the older one. seems to have very good battery life. love the backlit keyboard. used for email ,surfing and lots of pictures.
