Incredible computer. Lightning fast, and can do anything a windows computer can, but much better! It runs Microsoft suite better than all of the HP's and Dell computers I've owned by miles. I am extremely happy, and it's worth the investment. -Graduate with an IT Bachelor's degree and three associate degrees.

Nice design as always. Has a DVD/CD slot and more space for my buck which is why I chose this over the Air. Pretty much great for me and the battery lasts a day for me, but it's not like I'm a gamer or anything, but then again Don't get this if you're a gamer in the first place haha. Only problem is nice screen displays are not worth it for the price that Apple sells them at to consumers.

I bought this laptop to replace a water-damaged Macbook Air for my daughter at collage. It is affordable but old model. She is planning to upgrade the RAM and hope to boost up the speed.

I've never been an Apple person, but this Mac is absolutely wonderful! Such an upgrade from my old Dell. I am able to keep records of all bills paid, do work documentation, and keep everything organized. I initially got the computer for school purposes and with all of the features, I am excelling in school as well. I Love, love, love it and I would definitely recommend this product.

It is a perfect computer for what I got it for, which is programming. I'm on it constantly and the battery life is pretty good. The keyboard is extremely comfortable and my absolute favorite. It lights up depending on how dark it is in the room I'm in. Very fun to use and get used to. The videos that come on the computer that instruct you on how to use the quick keys is fantastic. Making it much more user friendly.

I have worked in corporate IT for some 10 years now, with emphasis on end user hardware (PCs/Laptops).. In that time I decided to give Apple another shot since switching to the Intel based CPU. WOW, what an improvement over my first attempt with the Motorola Mac Book (white) in the early 2000s. Great unit for general gaming, internet surfing and has a decent battery life on it.

I use an apple at work, but had a toshiba at home. I decided to upgrade to an apple when I needed to get a new laptop. Works great and love the consistency between work and home.

Want to to wow the love of your life. Surprise them with a MacBook Pro it will get way more use then any jewelry and it's slick design will make them want to post pics all over Facebook showing how awesome you are. The display is exceptional and you'll be computing on iOS which is fast and flawless. Bestbuy had the best price I could find on this groundbreaking computer!

This computer is easy to transition to.It is light weight and efficient.

This is a great machine. It runs quietly and quickly, with a beautiful screen. I would recommend getting a hardshell case for it, as the metal casing can scratch easily. The only con is that the built-in speakers are very quiet when using FaceTime. They work well with iTunes, but not with FT.

I've been researching laptops for a long time. I've had many PC's over the years and was debating if spending the extra money for a Mac would be worth it. I'm so happy with my decision. You can immediately feel and see the difference as soon as you open it. It's built incredibly and runs like a dream. Anyone who may be on the fence.... Do it! You won't be disappointed.

Bought this for my daughter for College. It's lightning fast and does everything asked of it. I got tired of PC's and the numerous issues and decided to make the move to a Mac. Glad I did. Everything works seamlessly right out of the box. Apple products just seem to have more thought put into them when it comes to how programs and peripherals will interact. Also got her a Apple TV and, now her computer, TV, IPhone and IPad are all synced. My wife and I plan on using Facetime (we have a IPad) to keep in touch with her as it is so much easier than Skype or any other third party provider.

I work in the IT field and need a computer that would be able to run both Apple and Windows software and have a DVD drive. This Mac Book Pro has done everything I have asked it too. I installed VMware Fusion software and I have been able to run VM's of Win XP, 7, 8.1, and 10 with out any issues.

I really enjoy my macbook. It is very light and portable which is especially beneficial for me because I am a student. It is fast and the battery life is wonderful. The display and visibility is great. Everything I could ask for in a computer, this macbook has.

This is my second MacBook Pro. By saying "second" I don't mean replacement; my first MacBook Pro is healthy and still working hard. What it means is: I loved the first MacBook Pro so much that I bought a second MacBook Pro. Do they cost more than other companies? Sure. But is it worth it? Not to everyone, but for me, absolutely! I'm not a gamer. I'm not a business person. I'm a creative soul and I've found that Apple is quite aware of who they cater to and that's people like me. Great computer. Review complete.

This is a great laptop, it's fast and very easy to use for any age range

I purchased this computer after reading some customer reviews and comparing it to the new line of MacBook pros. It is definitely worth the $1100 sticker. Every program I have put on it runs smoothly and with a HDD of 500gb, I have plenty of space to save without having to consolidate for space.

I love my new MacBook PRO, its fast and perfect for what I use it for . I have always had PC's and after having to buy one after another, and hearing so many wonderful things about the MacBook, I decided to buy one. I am very happy I did.
