I decided to get a MacBook as my previous PC's did not seem to last more than a few years before I had issues with them. I had been told the Apple PC's are long lasting, with minimal problems. I like the way the system works, the apps available, the icon based start up screen, sharp screens, good screen visibility even when working on it outside, and am in love with the lighted keyboard. I do miss a number keypad, but find that the numbers across the top are actually very easy to use. It took me awhile to adjust to the new commands for the touch pad, but I am getting it mastered, and like it better than my previous PC's.

I love Apple is such a great product. it was easy to set up. I purchased AppleCare and recommend that everyone do so. They really good with assisting any questions I have.

This computer was purchased to replace my "junked out" computer by the Geek Squad. I had a larger computer with a larger screen and wanted the same features as that is what is important to me. Geek Squad refused to give me full purchase price or full credit for my larger MacBook Pro and forced me to pay $30 more just to get this one. Computer is great...wish the screen was bigger though because I usually have multiple programs open and once. Would strongly discourage anyone from investing in the Geek Squad protection plan though. I spent $2000 on a computer with protection plans and ended up with a $1000 computer in the end.

During my purchase, an anti virus was promised to me but I never received it. That why I gave a 4 instead of a 5

If you're used to having a Mac computer then you'll love this one! My only issue is that it seems really heavy!!

The apple pro Mac is very easy to use and will be great once I get to college. The Mac des not get viruses easy so there should be no problem once I get to school. I have transferred all my kno from my other computer and it handles much easier. The price is little high but I am hoping it will last my four years at school

It took a while to switch from a PC to MAc and I had a learning curve. But now I have learned the short cuts and all that the MAc can do and enjoy it very much. A good buy.

The Apple MacBook pro does everything college age son needs it to do. Fast and reliable

I've only had this Apple MacBook Pro for the past two days. So far, so good. Prior to this, I've used Toshiba, HP, Dell, and a myriad of other units. However, as I have an iPad, iPhone, and iPod, I thought I'd venture into the world of Apple Computers. The keyboard is spaced well and easy to type on. I am having to take some time to get used to the differences and nuances between the laptop and powerbook platforms. I can't imagine that it would be much different if I had went with another HP. I do love my HP computers and currently have an HP desktop, which works well...but my old laptop was sluggish, kept crashing, and just wasn't operating well...I don't do a lot of work from home. Most of my time with this MAC will be paying bills, shopping, checking email, and surfing the web. I'm sure it will be more than adequate for those tasks. Having the iCloud on this intuitively sync and know the information on my other Apple devices has been a nice feature and one I will get a lot of use from. I will try to update this review as I learn more about this new device.

Many people buy this product just to say they own one, but this computer is superior to my other "big" name brand computer.

My MacBook Pro is everything I thought it would. It's much easier and faster to download my pics and edit them. It syncs easy with all my Apple products.

I love my Mac. It was so easy to set up and took me no time to figure how to use it especially since I was switching from a PC.

Love it! Easily transferring photos from iPhone and itouch. Convienent for family use. Love no installing for printers or external hard drive. Just plug it in and it works!

We've always been Windows laptop users. This was our first macbook ... and we were able to buy it at a great price at Best Buy. We're enjoying the computer so far.
