All the sore employees were raving about these and saying these are trouble free and much better than a Windows PC. I get it home and it connects to the internet fine but won't update. Different people at the store including the Apple rep tell me I need to upgrade my router because a high grade connection is needed for the Mac to update. I Buy another router(Netgear) a well rated one and start watching a movie and it starts buffering and won't stop. That happened 3 different times. Other Windows computers in the house had no problem. I specifically asked if it would work with any router before I bought it and was told yes. Of course afterward I was told I should buy an Apple router. When starting the computer the first time I had to create an icloud account. The icloud email does not work, got error messages. The apple rep said I should just use something like Yahoo. A $1200.00 computer and the email program won't work correctly. Whenever the computer froze I would go to the drop down menu and shut down the program that was frozen and even then nothing would work, I would have to reboot every time. I don't know why they have that to shut down the affected program when a reboot is necessary for anything to work. A lot of websites hesitated while opening. Not like there was a problem but like the computer was just slow. I had the latest version Mac Pro the $1200.00 one with 4 gig of ram and an i5 processor. Nothing special about the display either. Not the new router, this Windows PC opens very fast and I have not had it buffer once So for all the store employees telling me I would not have problems like a Windows PC has, I had nothing but problems. Returned it and bought a Windows PC and it is much better and I paid half of what the Mac cost. While looking before buying the Mac in the store would not zoom in and out by tapping the touch pad as advertised. Even the Apple rep could not get it to work right and mine would not do that either. While the Mac is very well constructed there is nothing special and it is very finicky. I have had no problems with the new Windows PC or the others at home with the router or updating or anything else. These Mac computers are overhyped and way overpriced in my opinion.

I debated for about a month as to whether I wanted a touch screen HP ultrabook or the MacBook Pro. I got my first laptop fresh out of high school and it was an HP and it still works great four years later. The problem with my HP was it would freeze and not respond A LOT. I've only had the MacBook Pro for about 2 weeks but I really am satisfied with it. It really light weight and it has amazing programs that automatically sync with my iPhone. I also was contemplating if it was worth the extra $500 since it would take 4-5 hours for simple updates. Ultimately I am satisfied with my MacBook because it does live up to its reputation. At least so far.

Take it out of the box and you're ready to go. Connects easily and seamlessly with existing devices.

1st time to have a Macbook and we're all liking it. Thought it would be difficult to use but turned out it was not. Even my 6 y/o son likes using it.

Good solid product and it worked right out of the box. Quick and easy to get up and running. Would definitely recommend this product to other buyers.

My daughter Loves the MacBook pro! She is a college student and it is light to carry to class. We also purchased a cover for it from Best Buy.

This my first time use a MacBook Pro ,, it's awesome... never turning back to my windows pc! it's great for homework, college, entertainment..

As a lifelong PC user, but a user of iPhone and iPad, I was hesitant to purchase the MacBook, as I was concerned about switching Operating Systems, and the price. I'm so glad I changed. The functionality and quality of the MacBook Pro is simply awesome. I use this as my primary home and work computer now. Apps for Productivity that are available at my fingertips, such as Wunderlist, Password Keeper, etc, make this so much better than a PC, and the synchronization with my iPhone and iPad, are an added bonus. My only regret is that I didn't buy it sooner!

Got this for my son for college. It lives up to a Mac quality and ease of use. Well worth the money. As the saying goes...you get what you pay for.

I purchased this laptop to replace my 2008 MacBook. Similar functions, except for the safari portion is like the iPhone & was use to the older version. Very user friendly, great speed & picture quality.

My daughter loves this new laptop. Did not use the free anti-virus but love everything else

Good computer for a beginner. Not to fast and not to much memory for who need it a lot

I am a die-hard PC user, but I have loved what the MacBook Pro can do with video and pictures. It takes a bit of retraining to use a Mac, but the rewards are worth it. My MacBook Pro has an amazing battery life, (well exceeding 9 hours), but the load hasn't been too demanding yet.

Great machine and very powerful and stylish too. It works great, and is very fast. The operating system is very easy to get used to as well.

This is a great computer! I would recommend it to anyone. If you are not used to Apple Products, it does not take long to get comfortable with it.
