Pretty nice Apple product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I need to replace my PC and after talking with other family members that have Macs, I decided to become a Mac owner as well. The Macbook took some getting use to but I pretty pleased with my purchase. In comparison to a PC the Mac is much, much better. I just decided that instead of using the touch pad for movement that I prefer to use a regular mouse. I can do things a bit fast with the mouse but the touch pad does have some great features. Other than trouble using the touch pad I really don't have any complaints. I'm glad i made the transition from PC to Mac. Speaking of transition, the migration assistant that Apple has is wonderful. It took about 24 hours to have my files from my PC moved to the Apple but it was worth the wait.

Love it with some caveats

No download this, update that, four minutes to boot, it just works. On the downside, the screen kind of hurts my eyes, even though I dimmed it halfway, the default sound is much too low and I can't change that, I just cannot figure some things out. Examples of things I'd like to know how to do: show two windows side-by-side, widen columns in All My Files, show thumbnails of pictures in Pictures or anywhere I have them stored. If anyone knows how to do these things, please post in comments. Thank you. Overall, the fact that the darn thing just works trumps everything else. Wish I had started out and learned on a Mac from the get-go. Sorry Bill.
