My wife doesn't like the new MacBooks that don't have DVD in the laptop, as she uses it in place of a desktop computer and finds it a fuss to have to deal with an external drive. The price was competitive when it went on sale with other sellers (like Amazon and Amazon Marketplace vendors).

Good Computer Overall

I had an older MacBook (I think from 2009), so I was happy to upgrade. I am, however, surprised by how slow it is sometimes. I thought my older computer was faster, and I am not sure if it is just the Yosemite update, or what the cause is.
