I bought this Laptop for my daughter now that she is in College and I know that it is a bit pricey but I consider this an Investment on her education!

Very good apple product, upgradable, good value for price. Down arrow key does not always respond or gets stuck, this is disappointing for a brand new product. Battery life is great! I can go three days before plugging it in when doing basic work, or I can watch a movie, stream video, email etc for almost two days. Since I stream most of the movies and videos I watch via netflix, amazon, hulu plus etc, I opted for the basic screen and more gigs of space it was the best deal for the investment.

I was looking to purchase a new Mac as I was letting my mother keep my older one... and this hit all my needs. Especially useful because it does have the CDrom drive, which I still use (somewhat old-school). But the display and processing speeds are more than ideal. I'm Team Apple all the way!

I picked up this little beauty to replace a much older MacBook Pro. For pretty much anything day to day the "out of the box" configuration is perfect. I need a little more power as a developer so I also purchased an additional 4Gigs of memory for a total of 8Gigs. Now it does everything from intense gaming to full on development and with the battery life, I can work and play all day long before having to recharge. If you have never experienced the power and flexibility of Mac OS X and a Mac platform. I highly suggest that you do. And this 13" MacBook Pro is an excellent candidate for the experience and has an awesome price for a Mac. They just don't ever break down.

This is the first Mac I ever purchased. It took me a day to get used to using a Mac versus a PC, and once I did, I could never see myself going back to a PC. This computer is easy-breezy to use, I love how easily it synced with my iPhone 6. Definitely the best laptop I have ever owned.

I recommend this computer for ease of use. for a good "help and support" section. great battery life. lightweight. Excellent for writing documents, for managing music. itunes is great for creating playlists and burning cds. I hope to have this computer for a long time.

This is my first Apple laptop and coming from Windows 8 I have to say that I am truly happy with it. It is very well organized, clean and easy to work. It works perfectly with my iPhone. I used to have Windows phone and Windows laptop. With all due respect to Microsoft, I like Apple more.

Great purchase at $999.99. I am glad I made it. I am pleased with my MACBook Pro and all it's features. The 13 inch screen is a good size and the display is clear. I am pleased with the overall size and portability of it. I also love, love the thinness of it. Sleek , sliver smooth body keyboard and key pad. Even the power supply is sleek and you have the option to use a long cord or a shorter one. The 15 inch screen is great, but the 13 inch is a great size to carry around especially if you are a student or if you have to tote it around when traveling. ( Does not scratch easy not like my HP Notebook.) I will always buy MAC, a little expensive but oh so worth it.

My wife got her mac stolen from her work (she's a teacher) the school refused to replace it. So back to Best Buy to buy yet another $3000 mac with programs, so she could run her Theater lights and system. She likes the Mac and will continue to use them in her everyday applications.

I have long been a Microsoft person, both at home and professionally. The MacBook was a surprise in how easy it was to set up and start using. The only issue I have is the price of this laptop. A comparable Windows laptop would have, as an example, an Intel I7 core. It would have at least 6 gig and a terabyte of disc space. However, the overall quality of the Apple MacBook Pro is fantastic. It has an overall solid feel when I use it. I recommend it highly if price is not a big deal for you.

Haven't found a thing I don't like. I like the slim line look as well as the color. Love how all my apple items sync together now. I had my old mac for 7 years and it was great!!!! Thats what made me buy another. I bought this particular model because it has a c.d, player still in it!

As a teacher and a graduate student, this laptop was a must have. Owning all Apple products (iPhone, iPod, iPad, iMac) I am familiar with the set up & it's easiness. Upon plugging in it linked to my iMac and I was able to transfer anything I wanted right on to my new MacBook. Love it!

I have had 5 Macs previously and this one is the best. The screen is bright and clear. It has Thunderbolt and Firewire ports as well as USB, all of which I need. It is fast and it comes with OS 10.9.5 which I can upgrade to Yosemite for free. All at a very good price. Thanks Best Buy

To be honest, I thought Apple computers were a little over rated. But after I made the switch, I never thought it would be this easy! It's a little expensive but thank goodness that I bought it during black friday! I am still getting used to macbook pro as a whole but so far so good!

I've been a fan of the Macbook since. I bought my first one back in 2009, in fact I still have it. It has suffered some minor damage, trackpad doesn't work a so great, but that was due to negligence on my part. So I got this as a replacement. And gaveverything my old one to one of the kids. Although they offer the Macbook Air and the Macbook Pro with retin a display, I opted for this model because it was in my pricenter range and I can upgrade the RAM. Macbook Air doesn't have this option.

I opted to purchase a 2015 MacBook Pro 13" rather than the newer models. I wanted a CD/DVD player, SD Card slot, and multiple USB inputs. The newer models removed all of that and use flashdrive memory. I already have a late year 2012 15" and it's proven to be a great laptop. I actually bought three at once since the price was so good. My kids have been using them for school and they perform fantastic.

I purchased this laptop as a present for mothers day. My mom absolutely loves its lightweight and ability. Now shes able to sync everything from her office, to her home, to on the road (the whole reason she wanted the mac). The only thing shes complained about is not being able to sync all her contacts from her devices to the mac. I'm sure she'll talk to someone and figure it out tho.

This is my first Mac and I love it. It takes some getting used to since I've always had Windows based machines but once you familiarize yourself with it you'll love it. I also love that I can connect my iPhone, my son's iphone, my iPad and our Apple TV to it. 5 stars from me!! <3

It is such a major change from the traditional lap tops we have used for years. Fast, NO freeze ups! We will be upgrading all of our desk tops and lap tops to MAC over time.

This computer is obviously better than my old computer. It's much faster and smarter super happy with this purchase
