Some day Apple will include their office suite with the standard system software. There Pages and pictures and numbers application is close but not the same and not compatible if you work in the Office suite world. Everything else is state of the art!

I was looking to buy a air when I found the great price on the pro plus I can upgrade the memory and hard drive latter if I want so its a great buy.

Teamed up the Mac Book with the Apple TV and I love it. My regular flat screen is now smarter and I can now surf the web from Mac and watch it on my HD TV. It's a great way to share videos, Skype and share presentations with clients, students or family.

All in all, I highly recommend this product. I've had MACBOOKS for the last four years, and I don't think I'll ever go back to a PC. It does everything I need and more with ease, and I love the sleek design.

I would recommend anyone getting a mac. I ablsolutely love it. My phone was not working recently so it was great being able to call my friends using my mac book pro's's Facetime feature as well as text using the Imessage feature. Luv the picture quality and the fact that I can apply a bunch of cool effects to pics I take with the mac. The only disadvantage is that having used a PC for years, it's an adjustment switching to the mac because the mac simply has some different features from the pc. But once you figure them out, it's smooth sailing..

This is my first Mac and at the beginning I was a little frustrated because I made the switch from a pc to a mac and the system runs its a little different. I notice that there are a lot a short cuts that I have to learn to make my life easier. This mac runs very fast now maybe just like any other new pc's and I am getting the hang of it. I love that part of using iCloud with my phone and iPad and the synchronization its super easy with not work from my side at all. The only compliant I have its the audio that is very poor. Overall I recommend this Mac.

I actually bought this laptop for my nephew. I have the exact same one since it first came out. It has never crashed or gotten a virus. I was originally going to pass mine down but I decided to keep it and buy another one instead.

I bought this laptop for my wife. She wanted the dvd drive and larger hard drive. Upon using it and comparing it to the Macbook Pro Retina I bought for myself she decided she liked my computer better. The screen quality on the Retina is much better and the Flash storage, although Apple charges way to much for storage upgrades, is much faster. We ended up returning it and exchanging it for a Retina Macbook and she couldn't be happier.

MacBook Pro is great! I was skeptical at first due to the price, but I'm so glad that I made the purchase. At first I thought, what's the point, I already have an iPhone and an iPad, it's all the same? It's not, it's so much more!! This laptop is great for school work, pictures, and FaceTime, amongst many other things!

Best choice I ever made in buying a Mac over PC...

This was my first apple MacBook purchase. Took sometime to get used to it switching over from a PC but since I have become comfortable with the system I absolutely love all aspects about the MacBook except the fact that I can not use an app if it is not full updated. Otherwise it was a great purchase no regrets!

I like not having to worry about purchasing anti virus programs for the Mac. I grew up using a PC and the Mac was easy to learn how to navigate.

Love it. User friendly. Does not overheat when using for long periods of time. The hand strokes when learned are easy to use and very convenient.

Don't know much about technology... But I was actually taking advantage of the tax free weekend and since its the last one in our state..I wanted something good and useful to remember I checked on previous reviews and I don't think I made a mistake by choosing this product... My kids love it...exactly what I wanted!

O macbook pro is exactly what we were looking for. Best Buy, yet Best Buy went a step farther and offered us our teacher's discount on top of the present sale that it was on. The displays were arranged in an attractive and helpful arrangement.We also got the special deal on the BB card. We were completely satisfied.

The computer is great for someone who wants to edit music and videos! There are two programs built in for that! Also, Macs are great for virus!

I always wanted a macbook and it just so happened that it was on sale. It is a great product, easy to setup, good sound quality, touchpad and keyboard that works great. It has a cd drive which works perfect for me as i have quite a number of cd movie collections. I love my macbook and i have no regrets getting it..
