It is a great Apple product and everything function perfectly but it could have came with more memory for the price that I got it for.

I would recommend this product to use in home, business or personal use. I wish they would of been coupons. It would be nice if the company would offer computer classes. I was able to get some info from the Geek Squad, however, the prices were out of my price range that would be beneficial to the learner

I purchased Mac Pros for my wife, son and daughter about 5 years ago which they loved. My son dropped and broke his so I recently bought him a new one rather than try to fix the old one. Bought my wife a new one recently and she gave her old one to her niece who is going to college. Great computers!

My son had bought a Lenovo laptop and has had trouble with it from the beginning. My daughter and I both have Apple laptops and have had very little trouble, so I recommended this one to my son for his college work.

I love this laptop. This is my first MacBook. I have always had windows based laptops. They always seem to have problems. I was told that Macs are more stable and have less problems, so I decided to try one and so far, I love it. I hope this laptop lasts me a lot longer than all my other ones.

This will be the second Mac Book I have boughten. It's a nice unit with ease of use. The on,y knock is the battery life and the price.

When setting up the computer I was unable to update iPhoto, iMovie, or Garage Band. It said I needed to log in to the account used to purchase them before they could be updated. The computer was brand new and I was the only one who had used it or put my apple ID in. Apple said it must have been an open box purchase (meaning someone from Best Buy must have used their ID to download the programs, then packaged it back up and sold it as new). The process to fix it was long, but not painful. Apple was helpful and friendly.

I would definitely get this computer but would advise people to upgrade to 8GBS. Can be a bit slow if it's not 8GB

as with above ...daughter says she would only use a mac, regards the entire article as the absolute best our current technology has to offer....advancements are leaps and bounds ahead of the p/c's available operating systems....(according to her)....of course it could simply be the fact it is a MAC.

Just what I expected of mac...excellent product. I have a Mac office computer, but was really looking forward to getting my MacBook Pro. I've been using it while traveling and for post-processing of my photos. I would definitely recommend this laptop to anyone that's looking to purchase a computer.

I would not recommend this college for a minor mainly because of it's price. I would definitely recommend it for a college student however. Mainly because a college student does not have time to go repair their laptop every so often.

I have had a dell for the last five years, and it was kind of starting to do some funky things. Not to knock Dell, but I was very excited to get a MacBook Pro. My old college roommate got one, and I used it for maybe 30 minutes and fell in love. I love Apple products. I think they are a little more pricey than what maybe they should be, but once you use them, they are completely worth every penny that you pay.

It is a nice computer, easy to operate. It does not have the options to download apps like Netflix and pinterest etc.

I was upgrading from my previous MacBook Pro purchased in 2010. I'm using it for video editing and am pleased with iMovie which is very intuitive. I was disappointed that this MacBook seemed just as heavy as my old MacBook Pro even though they've been purchased several years apart. It may be slightly lighter but it doesn't seem that way. I know a MacBook Air would have been lighter but I bought the pro because of my intended use of the computer. Overall, love it.

I absolutely love my new computer. It is the best computer I have ever bought. I will never get anything else beside Apple products. BestBuy gave me a great deal and were very helpful though the picking out laptop process. Again I'm in love with my new computer/laptop!! Get one!! Ha ha

I'm still getting use to the laptop. Luckily I can still use my keyboard from my old iMac and my old printer. I will have to get a new scanner because this updated OSX mountain isn't compatible with my old scanner. I bought this apple because it still had the CD/DVD player as part of the unit as opposed to having to buy a separate player. Having a smaller screen size is not as annoying as I thought it would be.

I love how wasy it was to set the computer up as well as set the other settings on the computer. I love the simplicity of it as well. The keyboard is wonderfull and easy to type with. This the best computer I have used in a long time.

My mom loves her Macbook, she learnt fast how to use it. She does a lot of presentations with video and audio so it's very useful and reliable. Main reason to purchase this model was for the CD/DVD drive. However it's becoming a little heavy for her.
