I bought this Macbook pro for my wife. She had many issues with her previous pc. The Macbook works like a dream and is easy to use. I would recommend it to anyone who is thinking about making a switch to Mac.

This is my second MacBook, but my first time purchasing a MacBook Pro. I couldn't be happier with the performance and reliability of this computer. The new OS is seamless and easy to use. I use this computer for school and work and have been very pleased with my purchase.

I bought this item for my mother and she had no problems getting it set up on her own. It took some getting used to after switching over from a PC, but the MacBook is really easy to use and a great buy.

We bought this for my son for Christmas as all he has been talking about for the last few months is how much he really wanted a Macbook Pro for Christmas. Well, he absolutely loves it as do I. We were going through new Windows based laptops almost every year and now I see this laptop lasting him the next 4-5 years. It is super fast, has great battery life, and great screen. I really like the keyboard that lights up in the dark. Makes my late night internet surfing in the dark so easy. What we really like is the decreased threat of viruses. We are still getting to know the Mac but up to this point we are very much impressed.

Picked this up on sale for $900. This is an excellent computer. Only upgradable Macbook left in production. For $150 I can install 500GB solid state hard drive and 16GB of ram myself making this computer equivalent to a $1700 macbook pro at almost half the cost.

I purchased this Mac Book Pro for my 87 year old mother. She had a PC that died and we have all Mac's and think they are awesome. I set it up for her and she is finding it way easier to use than her old computer. Once again - thank you apple for such great products!

This is a good laptop, but know what you are getting. It is not a top of the line machine. I find it more than adequate, which is why I bought it, but I also have another higher end machine. I did find that this one did run a bit slow for my liking due to the limited memory (4GB) that comes with the machine, so I added additional memory (16GB) to make it run faster.

the Macbook Pro is hands down the best laptop I've ever owned. its extremely fast, and amazing looking. quality was very important to me when buying my next computer. by far the best on the market when it comes to quality. the keyboard is fantastic. Mac OS is not hard to learn, and comparing it to my windows 8 computers at home, much easier to use on a daily basis. everything is seamless because of the gestures you use on the glass trackpad. i don't think ill ever go back to a Microsoft product again.

This computer is excellent. I went back and forth between this and the Air. I was replacing an old 2008 Mac Book, and this more than exceeded expectations. There is reason I won't leave apple products.

So glad I bought a MacBook. I've been holding off getting one. Finally got the money to get one and just had to buy one. Easy to use, lightning fast, good quality screen size.

I've never had a mac before. I have no regrets in switching. I love my new computer! I able to make it dual boot system with bootcamp. Enjoying mac as well as windows in one system. Excellent performance.

I purchased this Macbook for my granddaughter. She is going to school for graphic design. She is so pleased with it. It is exactly what she needed. Works great, and of course a great price while it was on sale. Overall purchase at Best Buy was easy and fast.

This Macbook Pro has all of the necessary programs to utilize for personal, educational and small business needs. It was also easy to transfer all data from my previous old Macbook to the new Macbook. Looking forward to many more years of enjoying this product.

I'm an apple fan. I have a desktop and after going through 5 or 6 Microsoft laptops in the last few years , i finally gave up and bought an Apple Mac book pro what a difference..I love it will never go back

I have had a windows based computer for a very long time. I loved Windows 7 but when my hard drive went out on my computer I bought a new hard drive and got another 7 because I had tried an 8 and HATED IT. WINDOWS KEPT DISAPPEARING IF THE CURSER MOVED A LITTLE TOO FAR ONE WAY OR ANOTHER. I AM OLDER SO MAYBE IT WAS JUST A MATTER OF "OLD DOG NEW TRICK" but I didn't meet too many people who liked it including some younger ones! When I finally had to get a new computer I decided to go mac. I had already been introduced to the i phone and an iPad mini so it was a very easy transition even for this old dog! All my photos "synced" and it was very easy to use. LOVE IT! Big investment but no regrets!

Love it! The display is crisp, 4GB ram makes it fast. I like the ability to add memory if I feel it needs more. But so far its fine like it is. Love having the cd-drive. I didn't want to purchase and haul the additional piece of hardware ,such as external cd drive.

I like the MacBook, it's the first one I've ever had, not so different from an iMac. Although I seem to be a bit limited in terms of options, some websites don't support my system, and it's taking a little longer than I thought to master it overall. The speed is great, battery not so much. There's little things I like such as being able to turn it off and my previous websites open back up when I turn my system back on. Also, the fact that I can share and control my MacBook through my phone. It's not as loud as I would wish, but it's still has good sound quality. It does seem to freeze for a second though, weird, I hope it's just my MacBook in particular and not the whole brand model itself. I can always talk to apple support about that. I mean, I just got it I have not even used 10% of my overall memory or hard drive. But I still recommend it, great for business work, school work, if you're looking for just a lap top, you're better off with an iPad or MacBook Air. The MacBook Pro is intended to be challenged, you gotta get it for what it's capable of, or you won't really enjoy it.

I have been a PC girl since the beginning. I know how to use them, there are certain shortcuts that are PC Specific that I have always loved (can't think of what they are in the moment) and it was something I have been used to. But I was tired of constantly paying for virus protection, for paying to keep my PC working well, etc... I just became annoyed. I needed a laptop and decided to splurge on the MacBook Pro and haven't been disappointed. I love this thing and it might be the mobility (my PC is a desktop), the ease of use, the layout which is beautiful and easy to use, and the fantastic bells and whistles. I am still getting used to it and there are a few programs I like more on the PC but that may be because I haven't mastered them on this thing. I always liked how customizable PC's are but I don't need that. I need to be able to write, work, and surf the net with ease. Done and Done!

I have been a PC girl all my life. I even had a Windows phone at one point. I researched, polled and googled the heck out of Mac before taking the plunge because I was hesitant to purchase a Mac but i haven't regretted it yet! One of the many reasons i chose Mac is because of the great feedback i received but, also, because once you purchase a PC and all the programs (Microsoft Office, etc.) it's the same price as buying a Mac. Plus, even though the Mac can be susceptible to viruses it's not nearly as rampant as on PC. The quality is distinctly better, and it shows. The transition to understand the way Mac works has been smooth and pleasant. I would definitely recommend you try it. YOLO!

My daughter needed a new laptop and I needed the reliability of Apple. Priced at the corporate store and site and found a better deal with Best Buy. Great form and function and you don't have to buy productivity software or deal with tons of "bloat-ware."
