I was a PC girl up until now, but I made the switch due to my career... I needed to know how to work a Mac like a pro and I have to say I love it! Love the laptop, the look, the features, everything about it is great.

I was very happy with my purchase. Customer service is wonderful there. My husband uses this computer for his DJ business and he has not had any problems with it so far. I definitely would recommend!

If you're tired of Microsoft crashes, viruses, and update after update that eventually make your system fail, then spend the money and own a system that does nothing but work. Easy learning curve , loaded with software.

I was waiting to buy a laptop and my daughter suggested a Mac. I love this computer! It is the best!

We couldn't see ourselves shelling out another $500 for the retina display and lack of disc drive. We like to burn mix CDs and such, so that was a big plus. Apple is great, as always... and this coming from a Windows user.

Apple fan. Needed to replace my old Mac book and find this one fits my needs. I updated my OS to Maverick and am experiencing issues with my mail as well as some websites. Should have waited for the bugs to be cleared.

It is compact yet capable of providing awesome results. Once I got the basics of using a Mac - it was so much easier. I have never had success with a touch pad before but am able to use this one without difficulty.

This was a Christmas gift for my 16 year old daughter. She loves everything about this computer. The description states it's a dual core ut when i pull up the floating processor window, it show 4 cores. Gotta love it.

I was a PC user for years this is my first MacBook I have an iPhone I watch they synchronize fantasticly. I know for sure I will never go back to a PC

I like it...but the real question is when you can buy real nice laptop for $500 these days...is it worth spending $1000 for an Apple laptop that pretty much only offers 75% configuration compared to other brands. Then again these laptops are only good for 3 years at the most...they become outdated so fast. It may be affordable for many, but the real question...is it worth?

Everything has good and bad about themselves. Good totally outweighs the bad.

My son has been a mac fan forever-and finally converted my daughter-I am hoping it helps organize all her obligations during school and work. The black-tie protection is a must especially in a crowded dorm or apartment.

Although this computer is an older model, it may be the best option for you. If you use the cd drive and don't want to purchase or carry around a massive extension, check into this one for sure!

I was able purchase this while on sale and have been pleased woth it so far. It is an older model so the processor is a tad slower than newer models of macbooks so keep that in mind. I went with this version because it came with an optical drive and i dont need high end processing speed.

Once you have an apple product you don't want anything but Apple this is my second one first one is just as fast as the day I took it out of the box great product

This is my first MAC laptop/computer. I have played with them in stores but finally had a good reason to get one and very happy. I wish the prices were a little different so I might have bought one with a larger screen.

I think this is the best Mac Book Pro. that you can buy , if you need one . Becuase other models don't come with the DVD drive . You might think it is not necessary now aday .but it will be handy when you need it . .

The best products come from apple. If you want power and a good product that does everything it promises without breaking and that lasts for years, get apple.
