I was hesitant at first, since I really went in to buy a retina display, but this machine has a fantastic resolution and frankly I couldn't tell the difference! Great value for the price!

Replaced a past Mac Book with this model. Very pleased!

I'm new to Mac, and admittedly there is a learning curve, but when you do, you will not go back to Windows. Biggest learning is Word for Mac, having always been a WordPerfect user.

This is my first Apple computer and I wish I had purchased one years ago. Apple is simply the best there is out there and worth every penny!

Happy to have bought this well priced Apple Computer. Was considering switching to an a 11 inch, but the internal memory and CD/DVD player swayed decision to get this computer instead.

I love that this computer has a CD drive in it... Most other models no longer have that feature. I have had a Mac before and love the long lasting quality that it has and the protection against viruses. My new MacBook works very well and I LOVE it. Excellent purchase for me since I am a graduate student and use computers every day!

I've been using macs for years. I've never had one die on me, and only ever had to send one in for repair of a defective touchpad. This new Mac book pro is just as great as ever.

Macs are notoriously expensive, but i bought this for my wife and we have found it to be a great value, especially if you don't need it for hardware taxing applications.

Apple is introducing new products and offered a sale a long with a student discount if you have an 'edu' e-mail address. What you would expect from an Apple product but with a discount.

Well built & dependable laptop. It's a little heavy but not too bad. Needed a laptop with a CD rom drive & this one fits the bill. Would like a little larger screen, but it's workable.

Overall, an excellent product that lives up to the price and expectations. Excellent tool for the classroom in allowing for vivid presentations, application usage, etc. Great investment.
