I bought one for myself about a year ago and love it !! My wife's computer was old and very slow so I bought her a Mac Pro also. She loves it !!!

After years using Windows it is my first experience with a MacBook and I'm still learning how to use it. While it's a very good computer, I now wish I'd purchased one with Retina display and flash memory instead of a hard drive.

Saw other customer reviews on this product and they complained about issues connecting to the Internet. Even though we read the bad reviews, we went ahead and bought the computer for our daughter because that was the model she really wanted and the salesperson assured us that they haven't had issues. Well, after one week of using the computer, the internet stopped working! After days of trying to get help from Apple and the Geek Squad we decided to return the computer. We were unable to solve the problem. It's very disappointing to pay big bucks for a so called top of the line computer and have it not work properly. Returned it to Best Buy with no problems.

I've been a Microsoft user since the 80s and used to work for IBM. Using an iPod and iPhone convinced me to try a Mac for my next computer. I have been delighted.

I just love my new laptop. It's just so much better than my iPad, now the only thing I need to learn to do is navigate and see all that it's capable of.
