This is a good choice for beginners to start with.I purchased this for my Xcode programming and initially I had difficulty with bringing up the iOS simulator later I understood that it is the problem with the ram. Now I own MBP Retina 13-inch 2013 late edition with 8 gb RAM and 256 GB SSD.

This is a great computer. I use it for work and home.

I purchased the Mac Pro for my daughter to use with her writing projects. She also uses it for a lot of graphic projects and the colors are so vivid!

Purchased the newer version of my old Macbook Pro. I like having a CD-ROM drive and didn't have need for a faster SATA drive so this did the trick. Hoping this computer lasts me another 7 years as my previous model did (which is still running with a cracked screen).
