If you are an Apple person, the machine is very good. Sharp picture, graphics, tools etc. But, perfomance wise - speed, storage, etc. - it's cost is way out of line with PC choices. If you're an Apple person - yes, recommend If you're a PC person - stick with a PC. I like Apple

This was an open-box item. I took at chance based on the Apple reps recommendation. My daughter loves it. Haven't used it enough to know if there are any issues. Would have liked to gotten Apple extended warranty but hoping that the Best Buy extended coverage will take care of it.

APPLE MACBOOK PRO IS THE NUMBER ONE PRUDUCT. FOR ANY COLLAGE STUDENT. WITHOUT PAYING FOR EXTRA SOFTWARE WHICH IS EXPENSIVE.

I bought this computer about 3 weeks ago. So far it's a very good computer. My only issue is the battery life is not the best when browsing or using the website. I find it uses more energy when using the web compare to my Toshiba laptop but overall it's a good computer.

My nephew loves this thing, I myself despise Apple products, but it's what he wanted. It works as expected, and has many things he'll never use, but wanted it cause a family friend owns one and loves it (she actually makes use of everything) and to be "cool" with a fancy laptop.

I really like this laptop because it is the only apple laptop that still has a cd drive. I would recommend this laptop over the newer version.

I got tired of replacing cheep computers after two years. I plan on this MacBook running for six plus years and the resale prices are excellent.

Purchased online on black Friday. Very little use for 2 weeks. Would not turn on or indicate charge cord attached. Just black screen. Showed no damage from delivery or use. Returned to Best Buy for refund. They did credit my account. Geek Squad member could not figure it out. Did not replace with another. Both our children have Macbook Pros and have never had a problem. One is 5 yrs. old and the other is 4 yrs. old.

There is a great difference bet. apple and other brands. Hard to make the transition from a PC to a Mac. Had to call in multiple times to resolve issues. Cannot say much since I only own it for a little over a month. The best ratings would be after a few years of use.
