Being a windows guy up until now i am very happy that i made the jump. i've since upgraded my mac a bit. from 4 gigs to 8 gigs of Ram and changed the HDD To a SSD. the mac was great before but now it's even Better

Compact power... outstanding performance... a unit that doesn't feel cheap and plastic. Sure, it's a bit pricier than a pc but a MAC is worth the extra in my opinion.

This is my first Mac. It's a little different to get used to it if you're used to a PC, but I love it now. It seems much sturdier than any PC laptop I've owned in the past. It will be worth the extra money if it holds up longer than those did. The 13in size is big enough to see everything comfortably, yet small enough for me to carry to school everyday. Transferring files from my old computer took a little time, but was very easy. (I had over 10,000 photos and lots of music to transfer). Overall, It's perfect for my needs.

Had to get use to the Mac Operating system, however This product is fantastic. Very user friendly once you are familiar with how to navigate. Would recommend to anyone who likes the apple product line. Very dependable.

I made the switch from a pc to the apple basically for the knowledge and experience. So far I've found it to be a very solid unit, well made. I may have made a mistake getting the smaller display, but I am getting used to it. From an operational point of view, I pretty much don't see a lot of difference from my PC, but yes I do like the touchpad commands and the performance is better, but my PC was 6+ years old, so I would expect it to be better. The battery life is excellent so far, overall I am very pleased with my purchase.

I bought this because it was the last non-retina screen MacBook. It's a powerful machine and easy to use. My only suggestion would be to add RAM so it doesn't lag and you don't spend a ton of time looking at the rainbow wheel. Other than that, I love it!

My teenage son needed a new computer for school work and this does the job. It also serves (more often) as his Minecraft console. :) Our household has been using Apple products for decades and they continue to amaze.

Bought this for gift for granddaughter. It was great price on sale and even though still more money than a lot of others, felt that it would be a good one for her through school years and for her photography.

I purchased MacBook Pro as my kids often have to make videos for their school project. They tell me that MacBook is user friendly and easy to create and edit their videos. Their video quality is definitely improved.

I had never used osx before this purchase and have never owned an ios device. Lots of people have told me that mac is the way to go because of superior hardware and simplicity of software. The hardware is good. The software took some getting used to. I had no idea why icons on the dock were bouncing, why icons in launchpad were jiggling, why I'd download a program to install that would open with an icon and arrow and folder (apparently I'm supposed to 'just know' that that means to drag the icon into the folder). After banging my head against google for a solid week, I think I have things the way I like them. The best feature of osx for me is that you can scroll in a window without changing focus from the window in which you're typing.

We bought this Macbook Pro during the sale and it's awesome. I use the same computer for work and I like the fact that it includes the SuperDrive. With an external monitor, its even better and very portable.

A great startup laptop for college. Great battery life and performance laptop.

Honestly it is the best laptop I've owned. The user experience is much better than my previous laptops (windows). It really holds up to it's standards, I enjoy the 13 inch screen very much. It it very fast in terms of processor speed and the amount of space is just enough. If you also own other Apple products such as an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch then this laptop would definitely come in handy whereas you can switch off everything you're doing from one device to your laptop.
