This is a great computer for someone that just does not want to worry about having to update software virus protection or worry about crashes. This is my third MacBook and my first one still runs great my son uses it!

We bought 3 of these laptops for our 16 year old triplets.. Great tool for high school and into college.. We were sick of them fighting over the desktop..

This is my first purchase of a macbook. I've always had a PC but I've wanted a Mac for so long now and I just absolutely love it. It's going to take some getting use to but everything is so fast and clear.

I am an owner of a Mac Pro Tower system with maxed out memory, 4 - HDD's, ATI Radeon HD 5770 Graphics card, Mac Monitors for video production. MacBook Pro 15.3" with maxed out memory. 500GB Samsung SSD, running OS Mountain Lion. I needed a Mac in a smaller / lighter package for mobility, The MacBook Pro 13.3" is perfect for my needs. Apple products have replaced 90% of the need of a Windows based machine.

It took me a while to decide what laptop to get but after talking to some of my friends and the people a best buy I went with this product, so far is working great ,I have everything from my iPhone now in my computer and it works great ,very lightweight and the picture is great ,so far so good

This is my first Apple computer and so far I love it! It works seamlessly with my iPhone and iPad. My favorite thing about it is that it updates everything when it is sleeping. I never have to wait to use it. I can log on, do what I want in minutes and put it back to sleep. The days of waiting on my PC to update and restart are over!!! I did end up purchasing MS Office for Mac online for $84.99 since I had so many Word, Excel and PowerPoint files. I would have liked to have had the Retina screen and solid state hard drive but I couldn't justify the cost. This is a great machine for $949. Go get one!!!

The MacBook is easy to use and fast. Pricey but overall a good investment.

The thing I love most about Apple products are they just work efficiently. It took less than five minutes to attach my printer and get it going. I was up and running out of the box in less than fifteen minutes.

We got to Best Buy and we're lucky enough to get a very experienced salesman, he definitely helped us make our decision. And my daughter was so excited! Thanks Best Buy, she hasn't put it down for a moment!

Bought two of these computers for our twin daughters a few years back when they started college and now one for our granddaughter as she started college.

(Review by user, not purchaser; item was a gift.) I love the product. Works completely perfectly. Great speed, excellent apps. No complaints. Perfect for what I need it for. It's an Apple and therefore amazing.

The computer is super and really easy to get started and use. I switched from a PC to Mac and don't miss it for a second. The only issue i have had so far is that the new Yosemite OS is not compatible with any of my peripherals yet. This requires me to repeatedly check Apple to see if drivers have been created, since I cannot currently use any of my printers or my scanner.

Bought this to replace the Mac my daughter has had for over 6 years. It is lighter than her old one. Macbook laptops are pretty solid systems overall.

My daughter set this computer up in 10 minutes including iTunes, cloud, and other services. I expect that it will be extremely reliable, as I have the same model from 5 years ago and it still works great.

Excellent Service with our purchase. Technician gave us some helpful tips (since I'm a PC kinda gal). The macbook pro has been fantastic for my daugther's homework, it has an ideal size and is not too bulky.

Excellent. We were worried about transitioning from a PC type computer, but this was seamless and easy. Best yet, the efficiency and execution of the MacBook easily trump our old PC laptop. Glad we switched!

Have loved using the laptop since day one and have kept enjoying it everyday since. I would highly recommend everyone to switch to apple because of how much easier things work and flow on the screen.

Just over six years ago I made the decision to convert our entire office from PCs to Macs. This involved some 20 computers being purchased and installed. Today, I just retired one of the first Macs we purchased as part of our transition. The purchase of this 13" MacBook Pro is for a new staff member and I'm confident that I won't be replacing it anytime soon. Apple's attention to detail and balance of machine and operating system are the keys to their success. It isn't about being cool or trendy, it's about saving money in the long run by removing the need for an IT person on staff.

I had been a forever Windows user.... and when I had to purchase a new laptop, I decided that given the reviews of Windows 8, I'd give a Mac a try. Having decided on the MacBook Pro over the MacBook Air (the deciding factor was the internal "power" behind the computer - and the additional harddrive and built in DVD-ROM was a bonus)... and it's been pretty easy to learn the operating system & the computer. It's been fast, perfect for my school work and surfing the 'net..... so far, I've been in love.
