My son needed a new laptop for graduate school. I gave this some time before reviewing but with one semester down, it has worked well for him. It told me it runs rings around the laptop it replaced.

I purchased this MacBook for my graphics business, and have been super impressed with the speed and quality. I will definitely be purchasing an iMac to replace the desktop I have in the near future.

Bought it for my wife for Christmas, and so far she loves it. Laptop is a little thicker then the Air but has a drive and battery life is better, so the choice is yours. For her she prefers the pro.

This computer offers the latest in memory and connectivity which allows a college student to do all that needs to be done. I love the speed, dependability and compatibility to other products. Love it.

Of the many laptops I have owned, this one is hands down the best. It's portable, simple to use, and pairs well with other Apple branded products. It has been the smarted laptop purchase we have made.

I have this computer for a month. Generally, it is a good computers. Fast, easy to use, long battery life. However, I feel some glare when viewing the internet, and when open the laptop from sleeping mood, it takes relatively long time to reboot.

I've not ever used a Mac before. In fact I don't really have an apple products with the exception of a little iPod shuffle I use to work out....and I almost never change the music! This machine feels solid, like it was very well made. It's fast, easy to setup and use. The price is significant compared to what you can get in the ultra books. However, I think Windows 8 is a horrible OS for a laptop.....its a tablet OS. So I returned my new ultra book and bit the bullet....so far so good.

My final decision to buy this Macbook came from many online reviews.Totally satisfied. Worth the money. Great for college students. Very reliable performance. Anything else that I am missing ?

I love my new Macbook Pro. I know they may cost more than some computers, but they much more intuitive than any PC I have ever owned. Get a Mac.

I purchased this computer for travel, and as a backup to my bigger MacBook Pro with the i7 processor. It does everything I need it to do, it's compact for traveling and I am happy with this purchase.

I have been wanting a MacBook for several years and I finally caved in and got one. It's amazing! It is zero hassle and super easy to use. I have used PCs my whole life so there was a short adjustment period but Macs just make sense. Now I got the one with 4gb of RAM and I upgraded it myself to 8gb and now it is super fast. It was fine before but I knew I could get a little more speed out of the RAM upgrade. I suggest you do the same but just buy it with 8 to start.

Excellent laptop for a college student. Easy to use. My son loves it because it communicates with his other Apple products. This is our third Macbook in the family. Great price for the value!

LOVE this laptop! I bought it, and it started beeping at me after three days, I exchanged it no problem, haven't had any issues. Best laptop purchase of my life! Perfect for school and work!!!!

This is my very first Mac computer and I love it!! A perfect marriage of high quality hardware and the finest software, resulting in high performance from this MacBook. I use it mostly for my music (a hobby) and image analysis (for work) and so far, it has handled both tasks very well. It is light and portable so I carry it with me quite often. It is worth every penny I spent on it !

I hesitated going to a Mac.... have always used only PCs. The transition was really easy - and I love how great it works and was really user-friendly.

This is my second Mac laptop. The first one was a workhorse for school. It didn't die. The hard drive just became too small. This Mac is great and works perfectly. I'm very happy with my purchase.

It could be a little faster and sometimes when I open it and enter my password it gets stuck or loads and makes me enter it again, but other than that, I love it. Great quality for the price

The computer worked great right out of the box. Screen is clear and computer is very fast. The salesman was knowledgeable and made sure I was spend ing my money wisely when he suggested the laptop.
