This is my very first Mac computer and I love it!! A perfect marriage of high quality hardware and the finest software, resulting in high performance from this MacBook. I use it mostly for my music (a hobby) and image analysis (for work) and so far, it has handled both tasks very well. It is light and portable so I carry it with me quite often. It is worth every penny I spent on it !

I bought this laptop to work with my music. So far it runs great, generates little heat and has a very good battery. It really handles my projects well. Only complaint is once again Apple likes to charge way too much money for a product than needs everything to be of the same company to work without too many crashes. Still a good laptop though.

Ordered this mac laptop for my high school freshman and see loves it so much. It is her dream computer (and 1st ever) and it will serve her well. Our delivery was as expected and excellent product

Excellent computer, specially for me that I was used to Microsoft, strongly recommend putting more ram and HD. Upgraded my HD for 2tb and Ram 8gb

How can you not want a Macbook? Easy to use and beautiful! Need to replace my Macbook Pro with a lighter model as I will be using it more on the go due to going back to school. Great price and I was able to utilize back to school sale! :) Winner all the way around!

My wife had an old Gateway that was a piece of junk, so we ended up getting the MacBook and she loves it. It didn't take her long to adjust from the PC at all, and we are now a happy Mac family!

Love it, love it, love it!!! Used Macs at work for nearly 20 years, then switched over to Windows after a job change. Have had an old Mac G5 desktop at home for several years, but wanted something new. It took me a while to justify spending this much $$$ when I can buy a different laptop for hundreds less, but as soon as I switched this on I knew I had made the right choice. It's fast, fun, and so EASY! If you've never owned a Mac, you just don't know what you're missing!

If you are new to computers and can't decide whether to buy a PC with Windows or a Mac, I certainly recommend buying a Mac. Being an active Windows user for the last 13 years basically living on my PC, I can tell you that Windows doesn't come close to touching Mac OS when it comes to ease of use. The simplicity of removing applications is wonderful, no tedious uninstall methods that look no different than the installations, just drag the application to the trash bin and you're done. The ease of searching for files is great. You have a search option at the top of the screen that can be accessed at any time to find whatever you are looking for. You don't have to worry about guests installing applications when you're not around while they use your Mac, all installations require a password. I tried blocking installations on Windows many times, and no matter what there was always some sort of work around that allowed various things to be installed without passwords while some others were blocked. I have younger siblings who love to install every application in the world on computers and it's frustrating going through the process of getting rid of everything every time they use the computer. I definitely recommend this computer, It's definitely worth the money, even with the high cost compared to windows.

This machine is fast. It has room for all other software I wish to load. I have a lot to learn about this Mac. The good thing is they do have classes at the Best Buy I purchased it from.

My daughter loves this laptop. Her school is an apple school so it helps her complete assignments easily.

This is a great laptop for college students. It is a great size for portability, and the features have everything you need to do your work.

While it was difficult to transition from PC to a Macbook, I get excited to use my Macbook everytime I use it. I know I purchased a reliable machine because it works quickly and efficiently. Sometimes I wish the Macbook came with more instructions for set up, but overall i'm learning pretty fast. I would never buy a computer without a CD drive.

I bought this laptop because I am an adult returning to school, I'm doing an online bachelor degree! If I'm not reading, I'm doing research on my new laptop! This was a great investment.

This laptop is certainly dated but for those of us who like to swap hard drives, add memory and do the basic upgrades its the last Apple Laptop you can do it with. The downside is the laptop is slow with installed memory and spin hard drive. If you do the updates to an SSD and more memory it runs like a bear. Screen of course is not retina!

After being a Windows laptop users for decades, I just got a MacBook Pro in December 2014. So amazing and yet I am still in a learning status. I really like the ease to grab it and go without a power cord as I travel, sit in a meeting, at home, at the office, wherever. So easy to have it available and ready to use. It is a whole new world for me.
