    My wife is a Mac loyalist, so I bought this for her 5 years ago. She had trouble with it from almost Day 1 -- slow to start up and wildly unstable while in use. It's overdue for an upgrade, but I'm going to be a lot more careful this time about which model I purchase for her.

    this is my first Mac. computer. Nothing is wrong with the computer. Getting use to a Mac takes time.
