I purchased this laptop about two months ago. It is working well. It does take a long time to start up, but after that it works just fine. The battery last for a long time.

nice computer fast and looks great very light great picture

I bought my first Mac in 2008 and when I broke it this year I knew another Mac was what I wanted. This one has far exceeded my expectations it's fast, clear, user friendly for technologically inferior people and a good size. I also love how Apple products come fully loaded so you just have to sign in and you're off.

I specifically came to Best Buy for this macbook because they are one of the only retailers offering the macbook pro with cd drive. The associate who worked with me was knowledgable, kind, and funny. He offered to watch my purchases while I looked around the store, and I found out later that he did that instead of taking his break. Wonderful service and both items that I wanted were in stock and on sale.

This is my fifth Apple laptop; I've been using Macs for the past 15 years; love 'em. This MacBook Pro doesn't disappoint.

Bought this machine for my wife to do her work related stuff, small learning curve but it beats our windows 8 desktop for reliability hands down. Battery life is great. I bought a similar one for my son to take to college 2 years ago he has had zero issues with his, he has dropped it into the wall and onto tile floor it only hurt the wall.

The Mac Book Pro is an excellent laptop. I bought it as a christmas gift for my daughter. She loves it and I do as well. Easy to use graphics are great and compact.

As expected, the computer runs great. I haven't had any problems with it. At this screen size I don't miss the retina display at all. Looks and feels high-quality.

I Love my MacBook! The best laptop you could ever buy, I had used others but I always wanted to have an Apple Laptop, easy to use, I would recommend it to anyone.

I went from a 15" Macbook Pro to this 13" and only barely realized the size difference. The only thing I would say is an issue is that sometimes the computer lags a bit, but I am using a lot of windows at once sometimes. I love this computer. The operating system is fantastic, the battery life is great, the customization is nice, sharp display, great sound, lightweight design...I am very pleased with this purchase.

So impressed with the weight, or lack thereof, of this macbook pro. Since I store everything on flash drives, I didn't need a CD drawer and so glad I made that choice. For presentations, it came with a connection port for a HDMI cord which works great! Coworkers marvel at how fast it is when I open it and immediately can begin working. They have Windows-based laptops and have to wait and wait for them to boot.

Converted to Mac after Windows 8 came out and am glad. Easy to use, light, durable, great display.

Apple gets it. Mac Book Pro for a college student. These kids have been raised on Apple products. This is a work horse.

If you want a Macbook with a built-in CD/DVD drive this is the only Macbook model that has it. Furthermore, the memory and hard drive are upgradeable by the user. The stock model has 4GB RAM and a 500GB hard drive. As your needs change, the memory can be upgraded to as much as 16GB, and the hard drive to 2TB, but you will have to use non-Apple parts. The screen is not a retina screen, but it is still very good. If you take good care of it, this Macbook Pro will last for many years .

I just use it for paying bills and working with ableton Live and a mixing controller. Definitely, worth the price I paid and their financing options helped a lot
