Been a loyal Mac user since 1985. I find I replace them roughly every 5-8 years as opposed to my counterpart Windows users, who replace theirs every 1-4 years. The higher sticker price is well worth it when it costs far less in the long run. The stability and quality performance of the Mac (both hardware and software) means minimal maintenance costs. Plus the ease of use is great for everyone. Extremely user friendly, straight forward and simply elegant.

I absolutely love my MacBook Pro!! Before I had a pc and had so many problems with them, but now that I have the MacBook Pro I don't have anymore problems. Definitely worth the price.

I bought this to replace my old computer when support for Windows XP was ending. It's connected to my tv and used to stream Netflix and Hulu along with internet usage. It's a wonderful computer and so small and quiet. I am very happy with it!

I use it primarily for college and it works beyond wonderfully. It is a great all around laptop. It has much better battery life than Pc's and I would not like anything else.

I absolutely love my new MAC! Not only does it run extremely well, but it is world class fast. I have owned it now for a few months and absolutely no slowing down or virus problems. A truly great computer from a truly great company!

I was very hesitant to buy a Mac because of the steep price, but I'm so glad I did. I am a student and this computer is so user friendly and the battery lasts much longer than the other Windows laptops that I have had in the past. I love the backlit keypad because most of the time I am stuck doing homework in the dark. I am definitely an Apple person for life now, great product even for the price. Highly recommended.

I love my new MacBook Pro. I debated a good bit between this and an Air. I went with the Pro because of the extra ports and the faster processor... and knowing I could do some aftermarket upgrades later if needed. I am still impressed with the speed, the display, the way OSx just works... no fiddling around with drivers, chasing down errors... I haven't had so much as a hiccup. No locking up, no hardware that doesn't work with it. I did say the one negative is the keyboard is still a touch narrow... but all laptop keyboards are narrow to me. It puts a little extra strain on my right arm, mostly while using the trackpad. But, I like using a mouse anyway. Gives me a little more freedom of motion. So, until Apple comes out with an ergonomic keyboard (like Logitech and Microsoft did a few years ago), I can;t think of anything I am truly unhappy with...

I am a Mac entusiast and Im also a Pc gamer. I will never use a Macbook computer for gaming because I understand that a Mac is only a good quality computer primary for school music and editing. My friend always ask me why you spend 1000's on a laptop if you can get 500 and do the same thing. I always answer. I love the quality durability and responsibleness. I try a Samsung 7 series with and i7 processor top of the line laptop for 1000. I simply return it back to the store after using it for a week. You cant compare a top of the line laptop pc with a Mac. I own gaming computers and the least I will do on a laptop computer will be gaming. I will say this 1000 times. Ones you go Mac you never go back to Pc.

I am in love with this Macbook. I have never been an owner of a Macbook but grew up with them in middle school. Absolutely love the touchpad, I currently have a cast on my hand/arm and I can still use the computer with ease. I carry it around all the time for high school and I plan on using it for college. So easy to stay organized. The only problem I have with it is when I video chat with people it gets extremely warm. Besides that it's a great computer especially coming from a PC user.

I've had my Pro for over 4 years now and not one single problem. Ive had to replace the wall charger once, as it was fried in a storm. The laptop after 4 years is still as fast as day one and works like a charm. The software is easy to use and navigating through the computer is painless. It has been dropped and had numerous things spilled on it. Still is a champ. Only downsides is the price and lack of games it supports.

I purchased the Macbook Pro 13 a couple of months ago. I put off purchasing one sooner due to hearing about Apple not being compatible with so many programs, etc. Finally I got so fed up with using a PC that I decided I would adapt. That was one great move on my part. I read the reviews which helped in any questions. It is one awesome computer. It is not difficult to use. It is entirely different from a PC which is a definite plus. Apple simplifies things. Yes, it takes getting used to but by then you know you would never go back to a PC!! Only negative is Adobe Flash Player.

Purchased my first mac for christmas, and absolutely love it . Its incredibly easy to use and set up, and I was able to move my itunes library over with a hard drive. The battery life is amazing, i have never had a pc that got anywhere near the battery life of my mac. I really contemplated spending the extra money on a mac, but i am glad i did because i wanted something that was going to be reliable for a long time. I also purchased the Geek Squad Accidental plan, because with college you never know what might happen.

This is an excellent laptop. I wish I would have bought this laptop years ago. The price is not so great, but think about it. This laptop is made to last for more years than a pc laptop. The operating system is great. The macbook pro is a little heavy, but it is all aluminum, which makes it durable. I like the touch pad as well. You can customize the touchpad to do what you want it to do. The battery life is great also. I took it to a class and for four hours the battery lasted easily. Love this computer

My whole life i've been using windows computers, and i've always wanted to give the macbook a try but the price tag has always held me back until now. After just a couple hours with my macbook i regret not getting one sooner, it is an amazing system to say the least. When you first start it up you may be slightly confused because the interface is so much different from windows computers but after about 2 hours of just playing around on it you will easily get to know your way around the system, it's overall a very easy transition from windows.

MacOS is just superior to Windows. Quick, easy to use, sleek design. Price is high but you get a lot for your money. I have bootcamp installed with a copy of Windows 7 so I can keep some of my PC-only things but hands down tihs is the best computer.

My wife needed a computer to teach her class at a local high school and this one was the recommended in owe price rang. Works great and she loves it!

I love the Macbook Pro. I have always been a Windows user, but because of the issues with viruses and adware decided to go totally Apple products. There was a brief learning curve but not bad. I think the biggest drawback was trying to convert my windows data. And the software I was used to with windows was somewhat limited with Mac. Other than that I love the speed and the clarity of the screen. I also love the feel of the key pad and the size of the 13 inch is perfect!

My wife and I made the mistake of buying a HP touchscreen laptop a couple of nights ago and within 15 minutes after pulling it out of the box it was shoved back in and taken back the next day. Windows 8 is horrible and it got super hot to the point where it made me nauseous. Anyway we decided to splurge and buy a Mac because we didn't like the way the direction windows based laptops are going in. And my wife doesn't really like tablets. This is the best decision we have ever made I think. Everything is about as smooth and fluid as you could ask for. I will never, ever, ever go back to windows based anything! I've owned 4 desktops and 3 laptops and every one of them have lasted about 3 years on average. Our sons Mac book he bought 4 years ago still seems new and he's on that thing constantly. Wish we had done this sooner!

I am not a band wagoner but all our phones,tablets and most computers are apple products. It has become an integrated system. Why. Because I have had only one minuscule problem with any of the products I've owned. This computer is the same as others that I have. No difference in quality. I will make one notation though. Apple is neglecting to put DVD drives In Some of thier computers which at this point in time I think is a bad idea. DVDs are still a widely used form of data transfer and an external drive is just not as convenient

Got this for my wife to replace her aging older Macbook (also purchased at Best Buy). Pricing was better than Apple's educational pricing. A great product. Wife loves how durable it is.
