Overall I was very happy with this purchase. I did have to upgrade my router though. Web pages weren't fully loading. Seemed bogged which really bummed me out due to the amount of money one spends on these. First time MAC owner and i'll tell you I won't go back to PC. Screen resolution is great, sound quality is really surprising, and it has been a simple transition. Still encounter a few things that i still haven't learned, but its nothing a lil You Tube tutorial can't fix.

Apple has always been my go-to for electronics. It's just worth it in a long run.

Can't go wrong with the quality of an Apple product. This MacBook is no exception.

I chose this model as the hard drive and memory are user upgradable. I upgraded the memory to 8GB and put the 1TB drive from my 6-year old Macbook in the new one and it came up without any issues. No drivers to find, it just worked. Try that on a Windows machine. I now have my files and programs without having to reinstall and restore. The sound quality is acceptable but I usually use an external bluetooth speaker anyway. Even though this is not the super-high resolution retina version, the resolution is still quite nice. The addition of USB 3.0 ports is a wonderful addition, my very slow and old 32GB thumb drive flies when connected to the USB on this laptop, and yet, it's not any faster when connected to USB 3.0 on a Windows machine. I also prefer this model over the retina as I can remove the optical drive and replace it with another hard drive. If you want a reliable, diverse machine - go with MAC.

This is the best laptop that I have ever owned. I haven't seen a virus nor had any issues with my MacBook during the last 9 months that I've had it. And the staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. This is another reason why BestBuy is always the BEST option for me!

I got this as a College gift, after not going to school for almost two year, my husband bought me this to start my first year in College. It runs smoothly and is amazing, covering all my needs.

The MacBook Pro is a great reliable laptop. It works great for users who currently use other apple products because they all work together, and it's super easy to navigate around for users who have never had apple products before.

I had no intentions of spending the money on a Mac, however, everyone I spoke to said it was well worth it and they are correct. It does so much more than my pc. I cannot wait to learn all it can do.

These computers are mid 2012 technology. Know what you are getting! I've had nothing but problems with mine. Apple is selling these computers with 2012 technology and 2015 software. The hardware is too outdated for the software causing the computer to be slow. I have now had corrupt software and a corrupt hard drive and BestBuy could care less. Of course Apple will do what they can to fix it, but in buying a new computer, I would NEVER expect the hardware to be from 2012. I'm now also having problems with my Apple ID updating anything because it is saying the computer was bought by a different user - meaning that it is possible that Bestbuy sold me a product that had already been sold to someone else. Again, Bestbuy doesn't care and won't replace it.

I should have gotten a MacBook Pro when I bought my laptop a couple of years ago. This computer is a little pricy, but I'm glad I upgraded from a PC. I'm definitely not going back to a PC!

This is a great computer for students and teachers. It's very fast and has great display. It's a little heavier than I expected and very pricey but it's still a great laptop and I think it's worth the price. It's worked great so far and I love it!

This computer is great for anyone looking for an easy to use computer. Although the specs are not that spectacular for the price you pay Apple makes it up with the OS. Mountain Lion is a very simple operating system with great multi-touch features.

I love the MacBook pro. Originally a PC user, I switched to Mac because of my dislike of Windows 8. Mac has an easy to use operating system and I rarely have problems when I run multiple apps and programs all at once. The display is fantastic.

I loved the idea of having a Mac from the very beginning. I've always heard great things. I chose a mac because I've always heard they last a long time and I've had trouble with that in PCs in the past. I've only had the computer for a month and it freezes regularly and is incredibly slow. I'm concerned about the longevity of this computer after dropping a thousand dollars on it. Crossing my fingers.

Overall, the MacBook Pro is a great computer. I use it a lot for school and have it all day on campus without a charger and the battery usually lasts. It doesn't get virus's and I download a lot of music. I recommend this product 100%
