Well I've always wanted a macbook since I first heard of them but could never afford it. So when it became on sale for 899...I thought to myself, why not? I deserve it?! And I did...and I can't seem to put it down. The only thing I dislike about this notebook is Google play...I subscribe and I thought I could listen to my songs on there...but I haven't figured it out yet. Anyways awesome notebook

I am not going to go on about what is great or what is not about this computer. My reason for this posting is after I got my locally Best Buy store bought MacBook Pro home I found out the build date was two years ago. Yes, that right, Best Buy is selling new out of the box MacBooks that are two years old. It is very simple to check, just click on the Apple symbol in the upper left hand corner of the screen and select "about this Mac" then select more info. Apple puts all the information about that particular computer, including build time frame in this information. By the way, even after talking to a clerk at the store about the various MacBooks, the fact that this model is two years old was never represented.

I absolutely LOVE this laptop. I love all apple products. The price cannot be beat.

The MAC BOOX 13 is super cool and does not get tangled up like windows machines.

I purchased this computer for my wife as a Christmas present on sale over Black Friday weekend. I have the same model that I purchased a little over a year ago. If you don't need the latest model, this computer is an excellent choice. I've had zero issues and will never go back to a Windows PC.

I got this laptop brand new and had a problem the first day. The laptop came with a broken battery so it would only work plugged in. So I returned it the next day and got a new one with ease. After about a couple of months with my laptop I noticed that the screen was flickering. Then after that the screen went completely out. It was just a bunch of colored lines on the screen. So I brought it in and they said it was fine and too bring it back if things got worse. So about a couple of months after that, the computer seemed to get slower and slower, and sometimes it wouldn't let me in, it would just black out so I would have to shut it down and turn it back on many times. then after a couple of weeks of this, it finally crashed and wouldn't boot up. So I brought it back in and they told me I had a bad hard drive and that I needed to replace it. I lost all my pictures and everything I had backed up from my phone. Its not worth fixing it for $500 just for it to crash again. This computer is not worth the price and has some manufacturing issues. It was okay when it worked but the majority of the time it didn't.

This computer is amazing! I produce music, and this is the perfect computer for it. I switched from a PC to a Mac and I love it! Mac is compatible with everything I use from hardware (MIDI Controllers Mixers etc.), to software (Logic Pro 9). I would defiantly reccomend getting this computer!

I love my computer and its many amenities. I like the fact that i can just insert my memory card from my camera and upload, don't have to deal with USB cables and connecting and installing camera software. I like how it instantly connect me to iTunes and the Apple store. Convenience is a plus.

Great all around computer. Have worked with pc all my life. Picked up the skills to get around on it pretty quickly. It is pretty awesome!!! Hope to use for many years.

This model laptop was recommended by an Apple tech working at Best Buy. My daughter is just starting college fall of 2012 and the Apple tech stated that it is an upgradable and popular with college kids. This is my daughter second MAC - she won't have it any other way.

Use it with photoshop, great display, easy to use.

This macbook is easy to use and good for business or school work. if you have other IOS products, it is convient to tranfer infomations onto the mac.

After having an iPhone and iPad I decided to take the plunge and get a Mac Book. After researching the options I opted for the Mac Book Pro. The big draw was that this had a dvd drive, and bigger hard drive. Overall I am very impressed with it, and look forward to going fully Mac in the coming years.

Great decision to transition from a PC to Mac. It wasn't 'easier' initially like some may tell you but rather, just as easy. Now its all coming together after around 1 month. No looking back to PC from this point
