Replaced an older White cover Mac Book OOPS Dropped it on a cement floor. Cost more to replace the monitor that total value of the system. Made the daughter and wife happy.

I have went through a series of gateway computers and laptops and none of them come close in comparison to the Macbook Pro. Of course it's pricey but that is to be expected with Apple. It is indeed worth the money though.

Coumpter was purchased for my child that was heading off to college. I had this computer setup by the store but did not get the Mountain Lion Program as told. When I checked into it I was told I had to signup within a certain amount of time. It should have been explain that the program was not being loaded and that I would have to load it myself when all other programs were loaded by the store.

Overall, I'm pretty happy with my purchase. It's a nice addition to the other billions of electronics I have. The only down side is that the battery life is pretty bad. I don't know if I got the one that has bad battery life, but I thought they (Apple) were supposed to have improved the battery life on this round of MacBooks. Oh well, I still am pretty happy with this purchase.

Bought this for a relative. I'm not normally a Mac guy because of the high price, but Best Buy really outdid themselves with this value. Great machine for the price of a PC after the college discount.

I have 2 macbook pro, and I like them. I can use programs from windows in mac only using a program.This is a excelent iteam with great features

I had this exact computer with a larger hard drive. I ended up buying this one as a replacement when I broke that one on accident. Works great! Does everything I need it too.

The older version of the macbook pro is good for a college student, but still expensive for the specs. I prefer the newer macbook pros with retina display because of the flash storage which allows booting and program launch much faster. This laptop is also heavier, but has a large hard disk storage option.

Best Buy sent an email requesting a review. I've used this unit for about 3 weeks now. It does what I need it to do, but the bottom of the case becomes so incredibly hot that I have to wonder if the lifespan of this computer will be substantially shorter than the same model a friend of mine purchased in June 2011. We've worked using both units at the same time in the office. The case of his MacBook Pro is barely warm to the touch while I'm tempted to turn mine over and fry an egg on it. If this new batch of MBPs can only operate properly with a $50 cooling stand, I'll take my $50 cash rebate right now, thank you.

Had my iPhone for years and glad to see the similarities. iTUnes is much easier on a Mac for me.

Very easy to set up and start using. I've been a Windows user my whole life, the transition to iOS has been easy. Rest of the family is up and running on it as well.

I purchased this computer for my daughter and she loves it. I bought it because of the reputation of MAC and for windows 8.

Overall a nice laptop, and it was on sale. I bought my daughter one of these for her graduation and she loves it! I have been using PC's for many years and some of the more advanced features are hard to find (for a PC guy anyway). I am using it for college and as soon as I get bootcamp to work, I will be a happy camper.

I have purchased 2 Dell laptops previously. Both laptop's batteries had died quickly which made them more desktops for the had to be left plugged in to keep on.

Went with this laptop because it is one of the last ones with a dvr drive. My mom is still a little old school and it has worked out perfect for her

I had a few problems within 8 months of having the product. Since I was still under warranty of the brand name, it was fixed within a week.
