Everything I've wanted in a Mac.. I choose this one for the cd drive already in and the memory I'm going to upgrade the ram though sometimes there's a little delay

Love this computer. its perfect in every way. The size is nice. it's a little confusing switching from windows to mac but once you figure it out it's worth it.

we are a family of 4, 3 of us have made the switch to a mac book pro since 2012; its a good laptop at a decent price.

Very easy to operate. So far no problems at all. I use it to play music in my dance classes and Itunes is the best and easiest program to manage songs and media.

The transition to a Mac was easier than expected. Even though it isn't the lightest available, it's quite portable. I expect that we'll switch to Mac permanently.

We bought this for our daughter who is a college student and it is working great for her. Like many of us she runs into common problems with her computers. We had initially bought her an IBM and she ended up replacing it with this MAC. She has had common computer snags with it (operator error I think) and she calls us all freaked out. Then we encourage her to call computer support. Every time, they have been able to very quickly fix the problem remotely or walk her through fixing it herself. She got moisture in it which we had to take to the crazy busy MAC store to fix (not terribly convenient) but it took only a day -- after the wait in line at the service center - to be fixed; very fast! This has been an excellent choice for her. The only reason I would caution people is the MAC store experience. Chances are you may never need to use it but when it's needed, it is a major process. You make an appointment, show up on time and still have to wait in line just to drop it off. And your wait time may be significant. (I want to add that I always buy "Geek Squad" protection on my purchases and it is worth every penny.)

This compter is much more reliable than my old dell. The operating system is much more user friendly than windows 8. Ive only had a few issues with having to load the computer twice when it turns on it will cut off and i will have to press the power button again to boot it back up and everything is fine.

I use my macbook pro for school which involves usage of adobe premiere pro and it's handled nicely. It suits my needs of a portable computer weight-wise and size-wise. Syncing imessages between my iphone and macbook is a big plus.

This Mac is being used for college and should work out great. It is light and thin, so easily carried to classes. Only comes with 4gb, so an upgrade to 8gb is probably a necessity at some point, especially for video processing. It would be nice if the internals were more easily accessible for memory and hard drive upgrades, but I guess that is one of the things that makes a Mac a Mac instead of a Windows pc.

I love apple. My hobbies range from DJ'ing to graphic design. With this laptop I can do it all. I'm also a student so it's great for handling the simple things.

Main reason to by this laptop a fire wire port. Plus I bought it when it was on sale (close to $ 200 off). It is fast, quite roomy HD and 2 GB of memory. A disadvantage I found was that Apple does not support burning movies anymore.

Great device. Big enough small enough to travel with. Great device for music engineers or for musicians. Purchase protective cover for extra protection.

Great price, runs smoothly, easy to use as well. I would highly recommend anyone to purchase this laptop if they as going to school or just for personal usage.

This Macbook is amazing. My wife loves it and really appreciates the great battery life. Definitely worth the premium you pay for owning an Apple product.

My daughter is 4 and since everyone in the house has a Mac she wanted her own. It's super easy for her to use and the price was great thank you Best Buy

I was very hesitant on spending this much money on a laptop especially since I've never owned an Apple product, but I must say that I can't believe I waited this long to switch. I absolutely love everything about this computer. I am a college student majoring in Elementary Education, and this is a great purchase that will enhance my work in my field.

Bought it for my daughter who is a college student. She has only had the Macbook pro for a few weeks but it seems to have everything she needs for school.

I am generally very happy with my product. It has done everything I expected and more. I am still figuring out all of its features but that will come with time and continues to improve. I did have to bring it in to an apple store to get it fixed (the wire between hard drive and rest of computer came loose) which was my only frustration with this product. I was able to get it fixed quickly and it was still under warranty however it was still frustrating as this problem should not have happened ever let alone when my product was only a little over a month old. It was definitely an inconvenience that should not have happened. Other than that I have had no complaints/problems.

Used for college student. Excellent price and user friendly. Small enough for backpack.

Love this machine! It is great for both my college life and my internship and keeping in touch with the world!
