So long Microsoft. This computer runs so well the picture is amazing. I'm glad I decided to make the change, especially with the Office 365 foolishness.

I was told by several people to get a MAC and was a little afraid to try a new system, however it has been easy to learn and use. My son and daughter in law has helped me with questions since they are Mac users. I would have been frustrated without their help. The short training at Best Buy was not very helpful, but did get me started. I hope the laptop lasts several years since it was expensive.

I bought this laptop for college and it works amazing! I like it because it has an internal disc drive, so you don't have to buy the $80 disc drive like you would with the new Retina display macs. Also, if you are interested graphic design or play a lot of games, this is the laptop to get, not the Air. In this laptop the memory is upgradable, unlike the new 2013 retina display macs and Macbook Air's. The new 2013 models have the memory soldered in making it non upgradable. I am a college student and it is easy to take around. I would definitely recommend this laptop to any college student!

Finally upgrading from my White MacBook and I am very pleased with this laptop. After upgrading the ram to 8gb and the hard rive to a 1tb SSD the computer runs like a dream. It keeps pace with my girlfriends brand new retina display model despite being 3 years older. I Would recommend this to anyone that's on a budget since it is fairly inexpensive to upgrade.

I am still getting used to switching to the Mac from a PC, but the Mac is very user friendly. I enjoy the quick swiping feature to access different programs. I have had trouble figuring out how to delete my history and keep my hard drive cleaned up, very different from the PC. Once I figure it all out, it becomes very easy to maneuver through the programs. I love the slender design of the Mac.

I was in the market for a new laptop and was going back and forth between a Mac book pro and a windows based laptop. After much deliberation I settled on the the Mac book despite the additional expense. So far I have enjoyed it tremendously ! It does not have the same old windows hang ups that we all know about and the processor speed is impressive ! I use it for a combination of business and personal use so I ended up buying the word for Mac. No problems, basically the same thing as a PC with a few changes here and there. I will say that the mouse pad has taken some getting used to! I've had to retrain myself on what I'm used to but it's awesome ! I'm hoping to get years of computing enjoyment out of it as I'm not one to turn around and buy the next best thing immediately! For those that are on the fence about spending the additional amount for the Mac - it's worth it!

As usual, this Apple laptop is everything I expected. It has great graphics, speed, storage, and looks good too. Definitely recommended to others.

I bought this laptop for myself in January. I loved it so much I bought it for my sister for Christmas! It's just the right size for personal use.

Bought this for my brother and he is loving it, even thought it's not the latest model, we upgraded de memory to 16GB and its working more than fine

Coming from a PC Apple is a little intimidating, until you open the box and power it up. Ready to go in no time. No long drawn out registration and ease of use is awesome. Added office for Mac which made it Work with other documents already in existence. Used for school, small business accounting, general Web browsing. Has not slowed down with heavy use over the last month and a half

This is a solid computer. Better than MacBook Air but not as fancy schmancy as the new MBPs. I bought this, upgraded Ram to 8GB and purchased a SSD drive to install to make it a lot faster yet still cheaper than the new ones.

I started a new service business (Wellspring Professional Coaching Services, LLC), in which I help executives and managers excel by transforming their approach to IT. I needed a new computer and I wanted a laptop with good battery life. When I added up the cost of applications for word processing, spread sheets, and presentation tools, it was in line with the Macbook Pro and it's included applications. It's done everything I need it to do, plus some things I have not yet done that will be useful later. Knowing that the Apple applications understand Microsoft file formatted files made the switch easy for being able to use all my existing documents as well as being able to use new documents from and for clients. It has also been very useful to set up an appointment on my iPhone and have it automatically in sync on my Macbook via iCloud. There is some learning curve - at least there was for me. I made an appointment at the local Apple store and talked with a knowledgable employee who helped me get through two or three areas of knowledge gap coming from Windows.

Easy to use. Great deal with sale price and college student coupon. Very dependable. Genius Bar at Apple Store is always great with help if needed.

I really like this Macbook. Unlike the newer models, you can still upgrade your HDD and ram on this one.

So far, I love my MacBook Pro. Its fast and efficient but as it is my first MAC laptop, there is a learning curve. I have to get used to certain functions being different from PC to MAC. It is definitely a great product.

I bought this mac laptop to replace my mac book pro that I took in for repair. I like the 13 inch size - it will fit where the larger laptop won't.
