I love my Mac! I always wanted a Mac solely because of the name and reputation. This pc has definitely done more to prove itself and live up to expectations. It's fast, great at multitasking, and it organizes files, downloads, etc. clearly. It's a very sleek and stylish model. I love the featured programs such as photo booth and iTunes. Couldn't have asked for anything better!

bought the 2012 model so I can upgrade the ram and use a ssd from my older MacBook. Works great.

My daughter is a college student and uses it for school she loves it says it's very easy to use. For everything school to all other online needs

Love the Apple MacBook. It's quite user friendly. Have some minor difficulties not having dedicated backspace vs. delete keys, Home or End, Page Up or Down quick access buttons. Wish it was less pricier. Nevertheless the quality of build and its speed is very impressive.

Beginner instructions were very useful. Laptop is very easy to use.

I caught this Mac Pro on sale, nice computer for the price but notice the battery life is not that great, overall I love Apple products.

Mac has taken over as my #1 tool for school and play. Its speed and ease of keeping it up to date is so much more different than Windows. Windows gives me 2000 updates a day that they want to download to bog my computer down and that is why I love mac with its ability to have 1 update in a month or so. I also like the compatability of getting windows files to mac. It is impossible to do the other way. Overall, I feel that at the time of the sale and now, that the macbook pro is the best computer on the market.

I bought this laptop specifically for Xcode, which works perfectly on this laptop. It can also run some games fairly well, but not amazingly.

Fast, light weight, and compact. Picture/screen is crisp and clear. It's everything I hoped to have, and then some. Best computer ever!

The 13-inch MacBook Pro has a lot more features than I expected. It has a large internal battery that gives pretty amazing life, a better display, faster processor, FireWire, SD-card slot, and best of all a lower starting price. The keyboard has very low (almost muted) key noise and the fully adjustable backlight is amazing. If you enjoy stealth typing, look no further.

I had to buy another laptop because I spilled coffee on the last one. But I knew I wanted another MacBook Pro without thinking about it.

This is my first Mac purchase after numerous years of Windows based PC/laptop use. I would say my computer skills are intermediate/above average user. I purchased this laptop primarily for home use, however I may use it in my small business. I have or have owned various brands (Dell, HP, eMachines, Toshiba). After thorough research comparing Windows based PCs of similar caliber and the MacBook Pros. The areas I compared were: 1. Brand Performance (Reliability, Life, Speed) 2. Technology 3. Support/Service 4. Cost 5. Appearance Overall I found that Apple out performed in brand performance and support/service than the others I compared. Technology was comparable to the laptops I looked at since they all had the Pentium i5 3rd generation dual cores. The MacBooks graphics/display were superior to those compared. The appearance was nicer than most compared and I like the lit keyboard. A couple of the laptops I compared had a few edgier features such as color or graphic design. This for me was not a major deciding factor. I was more concerned with sturdiness and a comfortable keyboard layout; and the MacBook was able to meet my needs and still has a sleek design. With cost I compared manufacturer pre built and their build to your own specifications Windows based laptops with the MacBook. I found that the majority of Windows based laptops were actually pricier for the same specs that MacBook has. The sound was a little disappointing, especially for an Apple product. I was able download an app from the app store called "Boom" for a few dollars which has resolved the issue and it now sounds great. Now for the cons, which I feel are very small compared to all the Pros I have found with my MacBook Pro. There is slight learning curve with switching from Windows to a Mac based laptop. However I do have an iPhone so some features/programs were not completely new to me. I have had my laptop for a little over a month and I am still learning a few things and do get stuck occasionally. I have been able to search the Apple forums for answers to most of my questions or issues. Lastly I would like to see more of a variety of apps/software in the app store; like the variety that the app store has for the iPhone. I have had to search/download outside of the app store for a few programs that were not free or not available that can be found on the web. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase and the price I payed for it at Best Buy ($999.00). I would definitely purchase again!

I wasn't sure if I should go with the Air or the Pro, but having help to make the decision to go with the Pro was very helpful! Now whenever I need to access a CD, I already have the CD driver and don't have to go out and buy a separate one. I also saved money by not going with the Retina display, but I think just the regular display is just as good!
