Never had an Apple product and so I got the iPhone after I got the iPhone I fell in love with it because I'm so used to the galaxy products. After playing with the iPhone for a couple of months I wanted to try a MacBook compared to a regular Microsoft computer and I absolutely love it it was the best decision I've ever made as Microsoft computer and I absolutely love it it was the best decision I've ever made as as far as her computer if you're having a hard time deciding on what to get! THIS IS THE COMPUTER TO GET!

I'm very happy with this purchase. I bought the MacBook Pro for my husband as a law school graduation gift and it was a great choice.

Nice laptop. Bought this for my teenage daughter. So far she loves it although this is out first Mac and it's taking time to get use to it.

This laptop is small so it is easy to take around everywhere, but big enough so it is comfortable when you are on it. I take it everywhere!

This is my first Mac purchase after numerous years of Windows based PC/laptop use. I would say my computer skills are intermediate/above average user. I purchased this laptop primarily for home use, however I may use it in my small business. I have or have owned various brands (Dell, HP, eMachines, Toshiba). After thorough research comparing Windows based PCs of similar caliber and the MacBook Pros. The areas I compared were: 1. Brand Performance (Reliability, Life, Speed) 2. Technology 3. Support/Service 4. Cost 5. Appearance Overall I found that Apple out performed in brand performance and support/service than the others I compared. Technology was comparable to the laptops I looked at since they all had the Pentium i5 3rd generation dual cores. The MacBooks graphics/display were superior to those compared. The appearance was nicer than most compared and I like the lit keyboard. A couple of the laptops I compared had a few edgier features such as color or graphic design. This for me was not a major deciding factor. I was more concerned with sturdiness and a comfortable keyboard layout; and the MacBook was able to meet my needs and still has a sleek design. With cost I compared manufacturer pre built and their build to your own specifications Windows based laptops with the MacBook. I found that the majority of Windows based laptops were actually pricier for the same specs that MacBook has. The sound was a little disappointing, especially for an Apple product. I was able download an app from the app store called "Boom" for a few dollars which has resolved the issue and it now sounds great. Now for the cons, which I feel are very small compared to all the Pros I have found with my MacBook Pro. There is slight learning curve with switching from Windows to a Mac based laptop. However I do have an iPhone so some features/programs were not completely new to me. I have had my laptop for a little over a month and I am still learning a few things and do get stuck occasionally. I have been able to search the Apple forums for answers to most of my questions or issues. Lastly I would like to see more of a variety of apps/software in the app store; like the variety that the app store has for the iPhone. I have had to search/download outside of the app store for a few programs that were not free or not available that can be found on the web. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase and the price I payed for it at Best Buy ($999.00). I would definitely purchase again!

I was a pc user and decided to make the leap to mac. Took a little bit of getting use to but I will never go back. I love my MacBook pro!!

I've used Macs since '89. This is the nicest Mac I've owned. It does everything I want and does it well. I'd recommend it to anyone.

I like how this computer has a disk drive. Now the newer computers are omitting that feature. I'm happy with its overall performance

This is the 4th apple computer I've had, and loved everyone of them. More than enough power with great synchronization with apple iPhones.

This computer does it all. I wish I would have had this lab top years ago. It would have made my life and college work a lot easier.

An apple product speaks for itself. I have an iPhone, ipad, iPod but never owned a MAC. Took a while to get used to, but it's awesome!
