I opted for this MacBook Pro due to it being on sale, and because I chose compatability with my other devices over price. I am continuing to learn the ins and outs of the machine, but have been pleased thus far. It is an attractive piece of equipment with no flaws to speak of thus far, only my own personal limitations as I adapt to the new interface. I am a fan of all that you can do with variations of fingers on the touchpad. Time will tell if it was worth the overall price.

So far I am happy with this purchase. Love the fact that I also got $75 reward points to pick out some other items at B.Buy. Can't get that at the Apple store and the prices are the same. Also like the fact that I can get the Geek squad coverage to cover the laptop for accidental drops etc...can't get that protection plan at other stores either...they just offer the regular warranty, but that doesn't cover accidental damage. That was another reason for buying thru Best Buy.

Always wanted a MAC and got this at a great price! Love Apple devices and this is no different! Wonderful laptop!

This computer works great for college students! Lightweight and small size makes it easy to carry from class to class. The battery lasts surprisingly long as well. Even though a macbook costs more than a windows computer, I am entirely happy with this purchase and firmly believe it was worth every penny.

This is my 3rd Mac and first MacBook Pro and it is even better than I expected. In my experience Mac hold up over time well, are easy to use, apple has great warranties and quick repairs, and overall it is just a reliable computer. I find I want/need to upgrade my Macs every 3+ years but my old Mac is still running fine.

I was apprehensive about getting an apple because of the hype but this laptop is a solid computer and a great desktop replacement computer. Beware that you cannot upgrade the memory on these computers. They come as is unless you purchase from the apple website or store.

If you want ample storage and the CD/DVD disk drive, this is the only MacBook alternative you have. Sure, it's heavy. Yes, it has moving parts (the new ones don't) because of the drives. The 13" screen is taking me some getting used to, since I had a 15" previously, but it's still way better than most any PC laptop. I'll never go back to Windows after having a Mac (especially since they came out with that Windows 8 nonsense)! The 500GB without needing external storage & and an external cd drive was worth the extra weight & lack of retina display. If you've never had retina display, you won't miss it, and if you're switching from PC, you'll still be amazed at the quality & speed.

When my PC laptop died, I was dead set on getting another. BUT that was going to take two days for someone to configure it so I could use it! I didn't have that kind of time. The SUPER friendly and knowledgeable Apple rep at my local Best Buy showed me around a Macbook pro. I didn't fall instantly in love, but since I use an Ipad at school and own an iPod, it was a little more familiar than before, and I made my purchase. I was able to walk out of the store with what I needed (microsoft office for Apple was additional, but I got a discount for making the purchases together). Best part was, I carried out a computer that I took home and turned on and was able to type my lesson plans I needed for school the next day. I have had personality conflicts with it- I had to call epson (in tears) so the tech could walk me through setting up the wireless printer (the directions I had were NOT helpful). I have had to re-learn how to attach documents and pictures.... and SAVE AS doesn't give you all the places to save. My biggest beef is the lack of an INSERT key- I love the "typeover" feature and miss it!!!! Otherwise, Miss MAC and I are getting along quite nicely.

Im new to using the MacBook's. But im glad I made the switch. Its a lot different from PC, but when you figure it out its got the same capabilities and is a lot safer from the virus world.

MacBook Pro works better than expected didn't realize I can more on this laptop then previous laptops I've had.

I've been shopping for a new laptop and have been a long time desktop user. After hours and hours of research and reading reviews I took the leap and bought a Macbook. I'm so glad I did. It was a bit tricky figuring out how to use a Mac after all these years with Microsoft. There are plenty of help blogs to assist. My next big challenge is Numbers! I'm very happy with my Macbook.

I love apple product, I like that you can sync all your stuff together. It is a very sleek looking computer and as a college student I will be getting alot of use out of it! I know it is alot more more money but I believe you get what you pay for, I have had other brands but so far apple exceeds my expectations on this computer!

Windows 8 was the last straw. Should have bought a Mac a long time ago. Very fast and the apps work flawlessly.

I love my macbook pro I wouldn't change it for anything, its not heavy and I can do everything on my macbook pro.

It was time to replace my eight year old MacBook Pro (which is actually going to live on by being cleaned up and given to my younger sister) and Best Buy was having a sale that I couldn't pass up. Easy to geez intuitive and anesthetically pleasing as I've come to expect from Mac computers I love my new little laptop.

This is the Firth Mac book I had , it better my Window laptop but I have to update my programs to Mac products
