Actually this is my first laptop ever. I bought it based on recommendation of Consumer Reports. Love it, but since I'm not really that good with computers I'm not using its full potential for sure. I had Windows OS for all my computers before, so Mac was a challenge at first, but I'm learning. Bought a mouse to go with it (old habits die hard), but haven't used it because the pad is really all you need, pretty intuitive.

We use this for business. It's perfect for Microsoft Office and QuickBooks. No complaints.

I have only good things to say about my new mac. It is quick and easy to use. Love my Mac!

Overall, the build quality on this laptop is far superior than MOST PC laptops, and for that reason, I purchased one. However, where the macbook really shines is with it's extensive compatibility with such devices like the iPhone and iPad. With Yosemite OS, I can text not only iPhone users but any number now from my MacBook, so long as they are both connected to the same wi-fi network. This is really valuable as I can reply to messages without looking and picking up my phone every 4 minutes while I'm working on my laptop. The only complaint I have with this macbook is that it can get slow and freeze up for seemingly no reason with time but when that time comes, just back up all your content and restore to factory conditions.

Everything you would expect from a Mac. I recommend it to anyone who needs a new computer

I came a specifically to Best Buy for this mac book because they are only offering the macbook pro with cd drive. So much better than any laptop I have owned, top quality, never any technical problems also wonderful service and item that I wanted was in stock and on sale.

As with any Mac, the bottom line is that it just works.

So far, this computer has been extremely reliable and worked well. This was the close out model, I purposely purchased this one due to it having a DVD/CD drive (this has been engineered off the newer models which reduces size / weight - but my needs were best served with having the internal drive). I did find the machine to be a bit slow, so I upgraded the RAM from the installed 4 to 16 which solved my issues. Overall I've been happy with the computer.

I had heard mixed reviews. If you love your iPhone you will love a MacBook! Just takes a little bit to get used to a different way of scrolling & looking for things but once you get used to it, it is awesome!

I've always had either a Dell desktop or Dell laptop but very tired of dealing with viruses. Now that I've made the switch I won't go back. This computer does everything and very satisfied. Not difficult to use either.

I knew I wanted to buy the MacBook Pro, when I saw the price I didn't hesitate to buy it.
