Sale price made it a "no brainer". Now I'm trying to learn the Mac lingo after having user a Windows PC out if necessity for many years. The 1 hr. Free Basics course was a great help....now it's a matter of practice.

It's an Apple, what else can I say. Apple is the Lamborghini of electronics. For the modest hardware specs, this thing is fast. It's efficient and doesn't get too hot. Great notebook.

Absolutely love this MacBook Pro - it's this only one with a built in cd / DVD drive. It's the best computer I've ever used. Even though there's an Apple Store in Charleston, I chose to go with Best Buy because of the fantastic customer service!! Love the computer and the store!

I was a first time Mac user & I will say that the first day or 2 of using it I felt a little clumsy trying to get used to it, but after that its been very use friendly & I love how light & portable it is perfect for travel or just moving to various rooms in your house! I'm not a technology whiz just a normal person who enjoys online browsing & this was very easy to do the initial setup as well as when a few days later I needed to print something no issues when I connected to my printer. Would recommend this to everyone!

too much type about this computer not as fast as i thought it would be love the simple design and the backlit keepboard!

I really do love my Mac it was pretty easy to figure out after a couple of days. Especially once I figured out the right click. I use it for school mostly and for browsing the web. The simplicity is good and I love the layout for the most part although Safari is not that great. The downfall is that its so expensive and it is just not as fast as I thought it would be for what I had paid and what I have experienced with other apple products.

Apple products, including MacBooks have the ability to sync and communicate between each other. This is my huge draw and switch, on top of superior hardware and software and a much better interface than windows.

This was a second Apple I bought so I could my mother the other one. It was an Apple MacBook Air , 13 inch screen. Overall, I have been quite happy with my purchase. This Macbook Pro fills my needs quite nicely. It is compact and easy to set up. This is Important because I live in an apartment and don't have a lot of space.

Got this macbook during the thanks giving for my friend and he loves it. He plans to use it for the next 6 years.

This laptop is great all around. Unlike other laptops, you never have to worry about breaking down anytime soon.

I love being able to use my mac anywhere. It's still a pain when some places won't accept mac apps, but oh well.

I purchased this laptop to replace a laptop my husband used. Unfortunately, the previous MacBook proved it had one flaw. It could not swim. We were fortunate enough to be able to purchase another with the same features we needed which was an internal disc drive. We love it.

Switching from a Dell computer to an Apple product has been wonderful. Now all of my devices sync. It's terrific !! Plus, I was able to purchase/dowload Microsoft Office Suite for Apple, so I haven't missed a beat in keeping up with my work projects. I LOVE my Mac Book Pro!

this macbook pro is a nice workhorse and perfect to upgrade with 16GB RAM and an SSD up to 1TB. These upgrades also improve efficiency of the battery usage.

I liked this Laptop although it's bit expensive compare to other laptops (HP, Dell) and configuration wise it's a bit low (on RAM and HDD) compare to the money I spend. But it's a apple product and Mac OS. Top of that $200 less from actual price. So it's a great buy.

I purchased this laptop for my daughter for her 13th birthday, primarily for her to use for homework (she already had a iPod touch for fun) because so much of her homework requires access to the internet or involves typed reports. So far the computer is working out great; its fast and has a bright, clear display. My daughter's only problem is getting used to using "Pages" instead of "Word," but I purchased a Mac and the Pages app because her entire school district has gone to Macs and will begin using Pages (instead of Word) and cloud- based computing in the fall. I really wanted what she had to be compatible with the school district's system.

I'm a student and I would recommend the Mac book pro to anyone, it's good for travel and the speed of it is excellent

If you already use Apple computers, you don't need any convincing. If you haven't made the switch from PCs, there's no excuse not to become an Apple computer user, especially if you have an iPhone or iPad. This laptop is seamless, robust, and versatile. Resistance is futile.

I was on the fence whether to continue with a PC or switch to Mac. I had weighed most of the pros and cons but I still couldn't decide. It was honestly the BestBuy worker that helped me with his expertise and honesty. Thanks! Great computer. I recommend going in Black Friday
