This is a great laptop. I bought this for my sister (I already have one) and she loves it. It is easy to sync with all Apply products, you can download apps, it is fast and easy to use!!! I love this laptop! The 2 things that are annoying about this product is the missing 10-key and the "Delete" button. There is a "backspace" button but you are unable to delete anything BEFORE a letter. It'd be great to have this option.

I have used many different PC's with all of the different OS's. I have been an iPad and iPhone user for several years but had never bit the bullet on buying the pricey MacBook. Although it is way more expensive than most other personal computers, the UI, performance, and reliability blow all of the others out of the water. I was a little bit nervous about having to learn the way that you use a Mac as apposed to PC but took me about 2 hours of messing around. Best Purchase that I have ever made.

This was a really great buy from Best Buy. Brand New, no hassles from the sales personnel, saved a tremendous amount of money not shopping at the Apple Store.

This computer is fantastic. Seriously. About 3 years ago, I bought a high end fully loaded Dell laptop. That laptop cost more than this one. Within a year, that laptop was slow, the battery needed to be changed and it was agonizing to use. I already owned several iPhones and (more recently) an iPad so I was a believer in the quality that Apple produces. Last year I purchased my first Mac, a Mac mini and I fell in love with their computers. After a year of owning it, it still worked flawlessly and just like the day I bought it. Fast forward to about a month ago and I decided I also wanted a MacBook. I'm so happy I made this decision. I sold the Mac mini and got almost as much as I paid for it, which helped finance the MacBook. Everyone says Apple products are much more expensive, but when you actually compare high end PC's to Macs, they really are comparable in price. Factor in the fact that they can last for about 5 years and the high resale value, they become a much more attractive option. Aside from the cost benefits (they really do exist if you do your homework - I challenge you to lookup some of the several year old Mac models on Amazon and see how much they are still selling for) the user experience is second to none. The trackpad is fantastic and the machine itself just feels solid and extremely well built. Other laptops I've owned feel flimsy and "plasticky." The aluminum unibody of the MacBook feels fantastic. I can not recommend this computer enough. It will change the way you think about computers and how you interact with them.

I love it so much. Was so excited to buy it. Only problem I had was learning how to use it. I used a windows lap top for years. The Mac is so different but once I figured it out I love it even more.

This is the first Mac that I have ever owned and I am impressed with it. The operating system is intuitive and user friendly, not unduly complex. The quality of construction is solid and the design is well thought out. The keyboard has a feeling of assured precision and is effectively backlit. The display is vivid and detail is well defined. This computer is also quite responsive, although not lightning fast. What truly shines above all else is the touch pad, Apple has really perfected it; there is absolutely no need to use a mouse. In summation, it isn't inexpensive but the MacBook Pro is definitely worth the cost.

I finally made the switch from a PC to a Mac and I am very pleased! Just a couple of YouTube videos and I knew my way around the dock and settings. Love the trac pad and lighted keyboard. I was told the aluminum may scratch, so I just purchased a shell for it on eBay. Battery life is pretty good and love the magnetic charger. The software is fast and surprising similar to Windows, as long as you find shortcuts on how to do things. I've only had this for about a month, but haven't regretted it once.

This is a great laptop, if what you are looking for is more performance than what the Air offers, and you still want to be able to carry it around with you everywhere you go.

I purchased this Mac after having a HP laptop for 8 years that finally blew up on me (literally). I currently have an iPhone and an iPad and I knew that I wanted to complete the package. It was definitely the best decision that I have ever made. The battery life on this laptop is exceptional. The display is still beautiful even though it is not the retina display. The only down side to purchasing this Mac was it was difficult at first getting use to the touch pad (mouse) and the commands since I was coming from a Windows computer. Oh yeah, this laptop is pretty heavy but it isn't anything that isn't manageable.

Great battery life, easy to use. Conveniently syncs with all my other apple products allowing me to keep track of everything better and have everything more organized.

I start my 1st year of college in a few days so,I've been doing a lot of research on laptops. I have an iPhone,3 iPods,iPad mini&iPad so,as you can tell I'm a huge fan of Apple products! In my opinion; there's no company as good as Apple's products & software. I chose to buy the MacBook Pro Laptop(which I had no doubt I would) today & I absolutely love it!! Plus, the amazing discounts & coupons I received for Best Buy made this purchase even more awesome!! No matter what the product is(iPhone,IPod,IPad, or MacBook laptop) Apple technology & software is worth it!!!

After deciding to finally switch from Windows to Mac, I'm glad I did. I'm still adjusting to some minor changes but so far, I'm happy with my new Macbook. I'm about to start on a graphics-intensive project which I'm sure my Macbook could handle with ease.

I have always been a PC girl and decided to take the plunge into the mac world. Yes, it is a little bit more effort on your part to learn but the rewards are well worth the effort. Plus, no fear of viruses! It connects directly with my IPad and IPhone so I am able to easily download photos, text messages, iTunes, from one to the other. Apple gives you great tech support and a search on youtube videos has been able to demonstrate and answer any technical question. I love the way it automatically organizes all of my files. So easy to do a search when looking for any file. I am hooked on a Mac and never lookin' back!

This is our fourth Macbook Pro. Very reliable and easy to use. Apple stands behind the products they produce. The minor problems I have had have been resolved promptly.

I absolutely love my new Macbook! The battery life is amazing. It is a super fast computer. Theres absolutely nothing that I don't like about it. Everyone needs a Mac!

I am loving the Mac just having a couple of challenges switching from the PC. It's fun and quick and can sync my IPhone and my IPad. That was one of the reasons that I wanted this computer. Toggling back and forth sometimes confuses me because I can't always find my last application. I think it will just take time. I am also having challenges with finding a download from an email but then again, it is just because of the many years of working with a PC. Other than this stuff, I am loving it.

Made the switch to a Macbook Pro and love it. It takes a little getting used to the operating system when making the change from Windows but worth the transition. Would definitely recommend the switch.

This is my 3rd Apple laptop. My Macbook Air worked for 3 years and then the mother board suddenly went out. After careful consideration I purchased the MacBook Pro. It lasted 3 weeks and crashed. All hard-drive issues. I gave it a 4 star because I'm skeptical. When it's up and running it's a great laptop!
