I bought this computer for grad school and it has been amazing. It is a little slow to startup but I love everything else about it! I thought about getting a macbook air but the fact that I can add memory to this model was the seller for me.

This MacBook is an excellent product. It has so many features that exceeded my expectations, even though there are newer models you can purchase.

Excellent build quality and no lag when it comes to opening multiple programs. Can get a bit warm but that's understandable considering its all aluminum.

After many years of saying "I should buy a Mac" I finally took the plunge and bought this Mac Book for myself as a Christmas gift. This is the perfect tool for my business (Mobile DJ). The setup was remarkably quick, program install and stability has been great. I love the aluminum case (as compared to the white plastic of former versions) it's housed in, the 500GB HD is wonderful (event though I store all my music on a seperate external HD) the battery life seems fine for the time it's been unplugged and overall, I really have never been this happy with a computer in my life.

I used this for personal use. I do all my computer needs here and I can be sure it will be safe. It is durable and lightweight. My only concern is the picture is only small. I guess I should have bought a bigger one, but then if I did that, then it will be heavier....aside from that, no complaints!

Not as fast as my old PC Laptop but good enough for my needs. So far no problems and it works great. I love that it has a good size hard drive and dvd drive. It takes some getting used to the Mac way of doing things. So far I love my MacBook Pro.

Handy smart and some what easy to use, having a bit of a problem down loading the office info.

Excellent hardware and software by mac makers. I love all the handy pre-loaded features such as facetime, imessages etc. I recommend to all of the people who would like to try something new.

I recommend this laptop for everyone. Easy to set up & use. It's light weight & goes everywhere @ any time.

Hello all, this is my second purchase of Mac computers. My old MacBook Pro works pretty close to as good as it did the day I bought it, almost three years ago. I bought another MacBook Pro and an iPad. I am in love with the iPad! You do pay more for macs but you really do get what you pay for! I love the knowledge of the Best Buy employees, I appreciate the great customer service! Thank you.

The BestBuy Rep was excellent as I almost bought a MacBook Air which was also on sale, he leaned me towards this pro which was really what I needed, it is just fantastic in every way, I love the screen very much, very happy with this MacBook Pro.

Great computer good for school and downloading because its not likely to get a virus because its made by apple id recomend to anybody its a worthy investment

This is my first apple computer and i could not be happier. The computer runs smooth and has good battery life. I was worried about learning a new operating system but it has been a real easy learning curve. The Apple Representative was knowledgeable and very helpful and all our questions and concerns. Represented Apple very well, made the choice to buy this computer very easy with no regrets.

I bought this for my son for Christmas and it was pretty much all he received due to the price. He couldn't be more happier! He uses it for everything. He is able to do all his work, gaming and surfing of the net flawlessly. He also loves hooking into my Bose wireless Bluetooth speaker as well. The only negative that I have found is that I wish I would have bought one of these apple laptops for my daughter last year when she went off to college like we wanted to but the school told us we needed to buy a windows computer with there programs which turned out not to be true!

Before I purchased the laptop I wish I could have seen it or at least touched it at Best Buy but it was locked in a cage and she wouldn't open the box. Also, the sales person who assisted me was annoyed since I was asking so many questions. And when we finished buying the laptop she rolled her eyes at a fellow salesperson. You would think when spending over $1k that there would be a little more respect from the salesperson.

I was waiting for my Mac for long time at last got mine . It was an awesome experience to open the first Mac of my life . Enjoying each and every moment am using it . so far it's the best laptop I have used believe it will be the best forever :)

I had MacBooks in high school and wouldnt ever go with any other type of computer. It's fast, light weight, charge lasts minimum 9 hours,

I have wanted a MacBook Pro for several years now! So glad I finally made the purchase. It is the most efficient laptop I have ever had. It is everything it's hyped up to be. Love it!!!!

I bought the pro for my daughter and she upgraded to the Retina with her grad money. Great investment if you ask me. She has been very pleased. It smoke my 13 air as far as speed and graphics. If I had to do it all again I think i would have gone with the retina straight off. Awesome machine. If they had my iPad mini and my air in retina i would be in bliss. I have drank the apple cool-aid since they are basically a bsd box I'm all in. Just pure awesomeness.

Very pleased with this purchase. It was a Christmas gift for my 15 year old daughter and she's enjoying it very much. One small issue with the camera that was easily resolved through an Internet search which doesn't change for opinion.
