I bought the pro for my daughter and she upgraded to the Retina with her grad money. Great investment if you ask me. She has been very pleased. It smoke my 13 air as far as speed and graphics. If I had to do it all again I think i would have gone with the retina straight off. Awesome machine. If they had my iPad mini and my air in retina i would be in bliss. I have drank the apple cool-aid since they are basically a bsd box I'm all in. Just pure awesomeness.

This is my first MacBook and I'm really glad I got it. I was a little nervous about switching from PC to Mac but I have no regrets. I should've done it a long time ago, it would've saved me money and all the frustrations I've had with PCs. I've convinced my best friend to get one also! Definitely worth the money if you're a student.

I'm a first year college student and bought this as my first laptop and first Mac I've ever used. This is a great computer and really easy to learn how to use and it has a lot of cool features that make it fun and also really efficient.

It is fast, has a lot of capacity, and has the ability to do all the functions m daughter needs.

My daughter is a Mass Communications major and needed a Mac to get the best results for the programs used in her classes. She was so excited about the gift and ready to use the AvidPro.

I think that this computer is a great choice for anyone who uses their laptop casually or religiously. It has enough processing power to handle everything I've thrown at it from editing photos and mixing music to simply streaming music. I also own an iPad and an iPhone, so iCloud works wonderfully between the three devices. It's extremely convenient to start something on one device and pick it up on another device later. My only grievance is the lack of a retina display, but for a little more you can buy the new MacBook with Retina display and upgraded internals.

I love my Mac book pro. I went from using only windows to the Mac and the transition was fine. After having an iPhone and iPad, it was very easy to figure out. Everyone told me it would be so difficult to use, but I actually find it to be easier to navigate. It is made much sturdier than previous laptops I have owned. Very happy with it

Second Mac product, first was an iPhone 3GS. Went away from PC due to the cheap plasticky feeling of my past Toshibas. Great value, but don't last more than two years. My wife has had her MacBook for 4 years, and the only thing to go bad is the battery. While the laptop is heavier than my previous Toshiba Satellites, I know I can take this anywhere, and the battery has the longevity to allow me to do whatever I want. While my time with my MB Pro has been only a month, I feel I'm growing to love it...If only I got get acclimated to the Mac quirks, hotkeys, etc sooner!

MacPro is a breath of fresh air after using windows with all the advertisements. Really appreciate being able to choose if and when I want an update. I'm in the process of learning how to use it and appreciate the apps you can get to help.

After trying so many computers the Mac is def the best one. It's portable. It's easy. It's RELIABLE. everything else failed me 100% of the time.

I love the apple computer. It is light weight. The computer is set up and easy to find everything. The computer easily connects to the internet easily.

The lap top is for the price It is not too heavy for my daughter to carry in her backpack.

We love our Mac book pro. We have only owed Apple the last 10 years and have never been disappointed. It was so simple to transfer the information from our Mac mini to the MacBook Pro. I like the fact that it still has the disk drive.

it's good for a student like me never struck in the middle of a work great battery life.

The Macbook is very user friendly. Longer battery life. Very quiet. I also like that I no Longer get virus warnings, I had a windows notebook before.

I have always owned Windows products but one little transaction changed everything. I am sold and MAC has got my business for a number of reasons. Just one is being able to link different products providing a backup solution to files.

This macbook isn't the latest and greatest one. It doesn't have an i7 chip and doesn't have 16gb of ram, the SSD, or even the retina display but it is a solid machine that can do anything quickly and efficiently that you would like to do

I love my Mac Book pro that I got for college. I got Microsoft word, power point, and excel on it for college. I also use my MacBook Pro to watch movies, and surf the web, and I absolutely love everything about this computer.

Love the functionality and versatility! It is totally worth the extra $100 bc the cd drive lets you watch movies and do so much more than the air version! I have to order a shell for it! It would be great if the store had them In Stock!
