This was my first MAC and it was a great choice. There is a slight learning curve when coming from a PC but it wasn't too difficult. This unit fit my needs and does everything I need it to. The only "negatives" may be the lack of software for the price versus that of a PC but luckily I was able to get MS Office for free so it wasn't a big deal. I could have went for the newer version with the Retina display and less hard drive but after comparing both units side by side I realized that as great as retina display may be it isn't a MUST to have.

Great laptop. Excellent quality. It is easy to use and very efficient. Has great speed and a clear screen.

It was a little big for my liking however I am use to the siZe of the phone and I love it

I have always been a Windows fan but since I have got my Mac I have changed my mind about windows. I like the over all performance and easy to use Mac.

Solid construction. Good size. Acceptable battery life.

Had this computer years later it died. Bought the surface pro 3, tried it out for a month and hated. Went back to mac book pro, so much better

Its worth Buying.Its user friendly and its better you go with 8gb or 16gb ram if possible..

I really enjoy the Mac book pro, I don't see anything wrong with it. I am not using it for anything major, just writting and checking emails, making resumes and saving pictures. I couldn't tell you if its good with anything major.

I got this as a birthday gift. I have been using it for less than a month. It is very fast and the performance is amazing. I never have problems with downloading or internet speed. It syncs with my IPhone. I am having some difficulty figuring things out being a first time Mac user, but I am sure that will come with time. I would definitely recommend this computer to anyone.

I picked this Macbook Pro over the Retina display because of the hard drive space limitations the Retina models (this has 500gb hard drive space vs the 128gb SSD on the retina). The laptop has been a great replacement for my last Macbook pro. I can't really find any serious faults, rather just the lack of options available at purchase.

It does not include sufficient apps for students to use in doing their assignments for collage. They have to pay additional money to obtain necessary apps. In addition, the bag for MacBook is great, looking modest and professional. Also, it's easy to carry it while MacBook is in.

This product provides what I need. It is fast and has great battery life. It is lightweight and has all the features I need for my college classes.

This laptop looks and feels better than most not to mention the speed and ease of use. Will get Apple TV for synch of all my Apple products.

This is our second MacBook Pro. Using this one for work. Best option for syncing work documents to phone or laptop. Never had a virus or any issue with any of the Mac's I've owned. Can't say the same for other PC's I've owned.

This is my fifth Mac: my first was an original iMac in 1999, my previous a MacBook in 2008. It reflects the amount of progress one would expect. This purchase was part of an office-wide switch of emphasis from Windows/IBM-standard to Mac and Linux after having gotten hit by ransomware two years in a row. This machine is a bit small for the user who runs multiple programs at the same time, unless one can have a second machine networked to it on the same desk or coffee table. Fortunately, I have the latter option. I would buy it again.

New to apple computers so there has been a learning curve but so far it has been easy

Very good laptop, however the new requirement from Apple forcing Best Buy stores to only sell the Applecare warranty keeps it from being an excellent value. Applecare does not cover water damage, unlike the Best Buy Geek Squad extended protection plans which do.

I like the speed of the computer and the logic behind the icons. It has been easy to set up and easy to take with me to my job and on my travels.
