This computer replaced a 6 year old mac. The new one has more capabilities and much faster. It is also much easier to use.

Love this laptop...i use it for grad school and it fast, easy to use.

I have owned this for a while and now have been very happy with this computer. I tried it for a week running all of my programs and immediately changed out the RAM for 16GB and have been very happy with this computer ever since. This computer came with 4GB which I found a bit sluggish for what I would be running on it. I use this daily and it has been a total work horse and hasn't failed me.

This computer is a great choice for anyone. It's reliable and easy to use. Also holds its value if the time comes that you want to sell it $$$

Bought the older version for my wife because it had more storage for less price than the newer ones. Not as fast as my retina display MacBook Pro, but still a good machine

I went into the store to get a new computer because my old Mac laptop finally quit on me after 5 years of beating up on it. For price wise I was looking at the Windows systems but didn't like all the extra subscriptions you have to get for it like the antivirus and office. I walked out with my Mac and couldn't be happier. Either way I was going to spend about the same with the updates and upgrades needed to do everything I want. I am constantly multitasking and tend to freeze computers somehow but haven't had that problem with my mac

Wanted something I could play games on and digital editing and the old lady could browse the web and put her music on. We upgraded the memory and hard drive to ssd. We love it. So well built just not like an el cheapo laptop.

Like usual, Apple comes out with great products and this one is no exception. I updated it to Yosemite and it has some great features. My husband hooked it up to his iPhone and now he gets his phone updates on the computer. One downside besides the expense, we had to update our printer's software to connect it to this computer and it now won't print in grayscale anymore. Very strange and annoying.

While I was still thinking whether to purchase the laptop, I received insightful and quick help and answers to my questions. After ordering, the service was very quick.

Great laptop to use for school. I bought this for my daughter to use in college, and couldn't be happier. You can add memory and a SSD to this laptop for a significant performance boost as well. Very happy with purchase.

We have recently made the transition to the Mac world and I guess I am almost ashamed to say that I don't know what took us so long! This MacBook is as awesome as the MacBook Air that we purchased earlier this summer. Now having several Apple devices, our phones, iPads and AppleTV all communicate flawlessly. The ease of usability is the biggest perk to our transition. Yes they cost more, but YES they are worth it.

Got this for my wife because she was always having issues with her PC and I was having to fix the darn PC. So now we are both happy!

Apple computers are always worth their price and this is a great product. It was listed as last years model , but it has the great operating system that we Apple users have always used. . Apple is always worth the price.

Great price and shipping was fast. Website provided great details of the MacBook and I even went into a Best Buy store and they gave details between several Mac computers to help with our selection (since I was new to Mac).

This isn't our family's first, second, third or even fourth MacBook Pro. In fact, we keep buying them because they are the most reliable, enjoyable and durable laptops on the market, and a great value for the money. Our daughter has loved hers for years, our son's got him al the way through college and is still going strong. We're all Apple all the time, and have had great success buying our desktops, laptops and iPads at Best Buy. What can I say...we're delighted customers, and we'll doubtless be back for more!
