This computer is easy to use, light to transport, and has an Amazing screen picture. I like the back lit keys, and the long battery life.

Considering how much I paid for this, I guess I just expected it to be perfect. The battery life is not at all what I read about, and every once in a while everything will process really slowly for no apparent reason. Other than that, I mean it's Apple so obviously it's well made. Display is great, love the backlit keyboard, and it charges fast. Hopefully it'll last me through college.

It's an Apple product - I'm not going to lie, some people just buy it because people consider it a name brand. On the plus side, it's super easy to use and learn. On the down side, everything is expensive in the app store. It's not a bad laptop though - I use it primarily for research in college and it does it's job effectively. The only thing I don't like is that it doesn't have a number key pad and that the battery dies quickly. I've been using it for about a month and the battery doesn't even last the 7 hours that it advertises.

I bought this laptop on sale for $874.99 and I'm so glad I did. It's my first MacBook and it serves as a great cross between work and fun. I'm extremely pleased with the functionality, overall a great purchase.

The MacBook Pro is an easy to use laptop. It has a great battery life and I would recommend any college student to purchase such laptop.

Purchased for our college freshman. It's perfect and at a great value. We'll be purchasing a second one for our Junior in college, who purchased a touch screen HP...even with Norton, a constant virus issue on campus.

It is the best laptop and computer I ever had. Awesome that it can be linked with my ipod nano, ipod touch and ipad. All my songs, pictures, apps and so much more can carry over! Great feature it is not prone to viruses and anti-virus software does not have to be purchased. Furthermore, Apple computers last usually twice as long then it's competitor's.

This MacBook Pro is amazing. My first MacBook and I love it, works fast, very reliable. I will be a Mac man for the rest of my life!!

I’ve had my Mac for almost two years now and I don’t think I have anything bad to say about it. I love it! Only thing is for some classes for school I couldn’t do certain assignments because my Mac wasn’t compatible. Just means that all these schools need to become more versitile because I know a lot of people that have Macs more than other computers.

Its a purchase I've been going back and forth with deciding wether or not to bite the bullet on. Finally decided to treat myself for christmas. So far i'm happy with my purchase and am thinking about getting the desktop(iMac) next. Its a nifty product especially if you're an avid Apple user. Im not sure if its worth the price quite yet but otherwise I'm happy with my purchase.

Overall awesome laptop. First Mac and love it! Only had some issues with program differences, but not too bad. Great display and amazing battery life. Very portable and convenient. Good for college students

I finally listened to my sister she has owned a Mac for seven years and no virus. Still too soon to tell. Look forward to seeing if last.

Though not with the retinal display this has the CD port and bigger hard-drive than those with the retina display. Main use will be for photography editing and down loading photos from the camera when traveling.

This was the first MacBook I have owned. The purchase process was extremely easy (Caitlyn was great). Decided on Best Buy for all the discounts I was able to get. Love the MacBook, its everything I expected. Only downside is I was under the impression I was purchasing a 2015 model where as it was an older model. Still great product features. Enjoy it more than any PC I ever owned.

After previous experiences with a MacBook Pro 17in and MacBook Air 13in I bought this MacBook as a present for my niece. She has been using Windows-based laptops, and she was nervous about now using a Mac. After a few minutes with this device she loves it. She was amazed how easy it was to setup and start using it - all of her previous Windows laptops were full of bloatware and took forever to startup and configure. What she loves the most is the fact that "it just works". Another happy ex-Windows user converted to Mac.
