A great product. I have been an Apple iPhone guy for years and finally added the MacBook Pro to the family. Screen quality is amazing with the new Retina Display. Takes a little time to get used to the set up, especially if you have been a PC guy like me for years. The only issue I had was the Internet could be a little slow at times, but when I downloaded Google Chrome, it starting working much faster.

This laptop is absolutely top-notch. Even if you are not a fan of Apple's operating system (install Windows!), this quality of this machine simply goes un-matched. The trackpad is superior to almost everything out there, and the battery life is surprisingly good. A great, albeit expensive, choice for anyone who needs a mobile computer. Definitely get the newer model with 8GB of RAM though, the newest operating system is a memory hog and the sticks cannot be exchanged/replaced.

Apple is the class of the field in technology. The MacBook is easy to use. It interacts seamlessly with other Apple products. The display is fantastic and I love the lighted keyboard when I'm using the computer in a dimly lit room. We have received years of reliable service from our other Apple computers. So when it came time to purchase a new laptop, choosing a MacBook was a "no brainer." I would give my highest recommendation for this product!

It's my second mac and I absolutely love it. It's thin, fast and beautiful. I can't go back to others.

I recently purchased a MacBook Air for my daughter (college student) and the Macbook Pro for myself - - both replacing laptop PCs. We are both happy with our Macs, but if you can afford a little more money and live with the weight increase, I would recommend the Pro with the retina display.

This is not my first Mac, but it is my first Mac laptop... I'm about two years removed from the Windows experience and I don't miss it a bit. The ease of use of the Mac OS is second to none. Apple products in general tend to cost more than like products from their competitors, but you're paying for a product and experience that has been specifically designed to work well together. The hardware complements the software and visa versa.
